I visited Heritage Manor in Gillespie. It was OK, but kind of busy and had a lot of people there. It also had a smell to it, but I think nursing homes would anyway. Otherwise, the staff was nice, and the rooms were nice and big. They provided food and played games but they didn’t have a pool. I think they did a little bit of physical therapy, like having you come out and sit in a lobby and do small exercises with your legs and hands. They give them a little bit of exercise. The dining area was nice, clean, and big. The security seemed fine. After certain hours, you can’t get in unless you ring a bell, and then they’ll let you in, so that was pretty good.

Heritage Manor has done really well, and my experience has been great. Everything has been good there, and she is getting good care. The best thing is that it is close to my house, because within five minutes I'm there. They play bingo, and they have people that come in to play music. They play cards and all kinds of stuff. The keep the rooms really clean, and it is adequate.
