I have just begun to visit different senior options and found Wyndemere to be very inviting. The meal we were served was delicious, although it was not billed as a wine pairing until I got there. That was a fun and unexpected experience. The staff was enthusiastic and the resident hostess at my table was someone I had already been acquainted with. The tour of the facility highlighted the various activities and we had a view of several apartment options. Information was passed out at the end of the tour with the hopes that I would make an appointment to discuss what would be best for me price wise. This is a lovely facility.

A year ago, after 24 years in Florida and Minnesota, I returned to my Wheaton roots: Wyndemere became my new home. Accompanied by treasures amassed during 60 years of marriage, I came alone; a new widow. My apartment is welcoming, often enjoying the company of my three sons and their families, as well as newly-made friendships.
As the covid masks gradually came off, I discovered a caring community who responded most favorably to me as a “newcomer.” Today, when I walk the halls or participate in an activity, I know I belong. I am a Wheatonite once again and, thanks to Wyndemere, I will cherish the times ahead.

A better choice could not have been made for my mom and sister. Wyndemere is everything and more that anyone of us would choose to reside. The facility is fabulous, the activity choices are many and the staff is friendly and kind. My mom and sister truly were happy there for 6 1/2 years. Thanks to the Wyndemere family!

After a long necessary Covid quarantine to keep us all healthy, our dining room reopened Monday night to in person dining. It was a delight to see so many mask free faces and enjoy wine and live music with our meals.
During the past nearly three years Wyndemere has moved heaven and earth to keep us safe and comfortable and they have been very sucessful.]

I wanted to say how much we appreciate how Wyndemere approached COVID and the measures that were put in place as things have ebbed and flowed. My parents made the right choice to live in the Wyndemere community over other communities that have struggled with illness and even worse, related to COVID.
The Wyndemere leadership team and ALL the employees there work so hard to make living in Wyndemere a safe and beautiful place to live! We are SOOOO happy!

I toured Wyndemere Independent Living for my parents, and I thought it was very nice, but it requires you to buy in. Essentially, you end up paying the price of the house, so it was more expensive than what they wanted to do. The place was nice, it was clean, and the residents looked happy. The staff were very helpful, very accommodating, and happy to provide a tour, it was great.

Seven months ago we moved into our new independent living apartment at Wyndemere. The facility is beyond our expectations—the apartments, the swimming pool, the activities, the staff, the food, the congenial atmosphere are all top notch. In addition, the Wright Place roof-top lounge is made all the more enjoyable by the hostess Candise. She is an outstanding, personable young staff member who makes our time there a delight. We know we made the right decision in moving to Wyndemere.

My parents moved to independent living at Wyndemere in 2010. About seven months later my father died. The Wyndemere community supported and helped my mother when her children could not be there. In February this year, 2020, my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Her decline has been rapid and complicated by COVID-19. The facility was shut down to all outside visitors including family. I appreciate their willingness to take such extreme measures to ensure the safety and health of the residents and staff. I appreciate the open communication we received on a daily basis about what was going on and the activities they provided to the residents who were being asked to stay in their apartments. As we tried to manage her disease from afar, we were constantly supported by the nursing staff, front desk, executive director and all other areas of the facility. The Wyndemere staff recognize and talk with residents and understand the unique needs of individuals living there. We are very happy my parents chose to move to Wyndemere.
