When I moved in it was a great place but since Hill Valley Healthcare bought it in 2022, everything’s gone downhill! There are no nurses working here! They only have nurses aid’s coming in every day who don’t seem to know what they are doing and don’t care about the people they are supposed to be helping. Food is never hot; lukewarm at best. Staff are friendly and helpful but management is unfriendly and unhelpful

top notch staff - above and beyond caring. family-like atmosphere. The small community feel was perfect for my parents, great staff to resident ratio and allowed for more attention to my parents. They didn't get forgotten or overwhelmed. Awesome weekly entertainment and daily activities. They would always encouraged my parents to not stay in their room and remain active and social. I am very please with how my parents lived the rest of their lives at Saratoga Grove, I am coming to the age where I will need to find other living options and this is where I will plan to retire.

My dad ended up going to Saratoga Grove Retirement & Assisted Living. He's very happy with the size, appearance, and staffing. We looked at a few places and that's the one he wanted to go to. He liked the way it looked, the people or staffing that he had met before moving in, and the size of his room, he was very happy with all of it. So far, he likes the food, and the dining area is nice and well-lit. He plays cards and does a lot of chatting with some of the other residents. They have a library and a nice outside area. The place is very nicely done.

My parents are moving to Saratoga Grove Retirement & Assisted Living. It was very nice. I liked it because their assisted living residents have access to independent amenities, it's well-priced, and they have everything from independent to assisted, to memory care, to long-term care, down into Medicaid options. It was lovely. The staff is kind and caring. They have a central atrium, it's very light and bright, it's a nice property, they have a patio out back where you can have family visits during the covid, it's just an A to Z facility, and it was everything I was looking for.

Food is horrible, terrible. All residents agree. Stop serving food before appointed time and stop closing food counter before appointed time. Just because a person is old does not mean they don't have taste buds. Cleaning burst in at will. Says they know I but no one can hear knock., some people are hard of hearing. I am not and did not hear knock. How would you like someone bursting into your home

To me, Saratoga Grove was the most peaceful place. It was very secluded, and it had a beautiful surrounding. It probably would have been my second choice, although it was not convenient as far as location. The staff was very knowledgeable. The lady that we spoke with sent me information regarding choosing assisted living location even though it was over and above what she had to do or needed to do, so that was nice and very helpful. The surroundings were beautiful. They were like in the middle of a forest. It was just really pretty. I thought it was really nice, but the location was not convenient for us.

The one that my wife ended up going to is Saratoga Grove. I like it; it is a religious-oriented place, and it wasn’t too big. The staff members seem to be competent and friendly, and they spend plenty of time with the residents. The room is a nice size, it is a one-bedroom, and there is a full bath. It seems to be kept clean. She must like the food because she eats all of it. It is convenient and is only about 3 blocks from a good- sized hospital. They can always improve on care, but from what I’ve seen, it is more than just adequate.

Saratoga Grove is nice, open, and an airy place. They have a smaller area for the assisted living. The way they had it is that the floor is in an X, so no one was that far away from the center, if they are in a wheelchair, and I like that. People were very nice, and they followed up on me after the visit. It just seemed a nice place. I also like the physical therapy area of it.

Saratoga is an assisted living, but mom has hospice care. It is very nice, and they treat my mom very well. I don’t have any complaints. The staff is generally very good. When you say something to management, they take note. She has symptoms of cardiac problems, and she signed papers that she will be in hospice.
