Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook combines residential apartment home living with the availability of personal assistance, support services and opportunities for residents to enjoy the companionship of friends and neighbors and to participate in social events and programs.
The community is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by our compassionate staff of certified nurses assistants, who work under the direction of the community’s licensed nursing staff. Residents receive the personalized assistance they need to compliment their individual abilities.
We place an emphasis on providing residents with the dignity they deserve and on helping each resident maintain as much independence as possible for as long as possible.

My mother is in Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook. I like the location and the amenities and things that they will help her with. Her room is nice and for a studio, it's a fair size. So far, our experience with the staff has been pleasant, other than I have a concern and I've been waiting for a few days now for them to get back to me. I'm hoping that's going to happen, but the process of getting her in was pleasant. There are just a couple of concerns in the first week she's there that I'm trying to address.
Due to COVID, they're not allowing anybody in the dining area other than the residents, although mom had commented several times that the food is really good. I saw some people doing Wii bowling. When we moved her in, we had to clean some stuff up in the room and that's one of my concerns. I'm waiting for them because I think they missed her cleaning day. It's quite expensive, but we're getting a lot of care.

Heritage Woods was a very nice place, and I liked this one the best. There was a pool and a movie place.

Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook was a very nice place. Their rooms were small but fine. Their staff was very nice to us.

My husband and I visited Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook with my mom. Although I was somewhat skeptical after our visit (residents were sleeping in their walkers/wheelchairs in the lobby) my mom wanted to schedule an interview. The nurse who interviewed her wasn't pleasant and hard to understand (interview was approximately 15 minutes). We were told she would call us within a week with her decision. Over 3 weeks later she called and told us she wasn't accepted. I asked why when social services and her physician approved her for assisted living. She replied approvals were based on her review ONLY. No calls were ever placed to social services or my mother's physician. I contacted the director and she said she would look into it and call me back the following week. We never heard back. Although we were initially upset with the entire situation, we feel sometimes things happen for a reason and it was probably for the best.

Everybody at Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook is very nice. The rooms are also very nice. The staff seemed to be friendly and helpful.

I liked the Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook. It was very nice. The only thing that turned me off was that nobody was at the desk when I came in for my appointment. I was ringing the bell off and on for 10 or 15 minutes before anyone came. Another thing that I thought was not good was that they have emergency buttons on the walls, but they do not give the residents emergency buttons to wear around their neck. If a resident falls down, they will not be able to reach those buttons on the wall.
