My dad will be moving into Melody Living Lake in the Hills. It's a place that we really felt would care about Dad. Not only were the people very kind and reaching out to him with a very caring sense, they had a philosophy over there that I just loved, and that was to inspire the residents to participate in activities. They look at the individual as still on their journey with a progressive continuing sense of life, which I really appreciated. They had a men's club and they had a number of men. They had about 25 men already, and they're only two years old. The activities director was jolly and joyful and had a very nice attitude. They treated us to lunch and we got to meet the chef. He's new also, and he was wonderful. They had a wonderful soup and Dad ordered the special of the day, which he enjoyed very much. They had a standard menu, but they had a special every day. The dining room was large and very nice with a wall of windows. So, there's a lot of light coming in. He could sit wherever he wants to when he goes in for a meal, he's not assigned a table with the same people. His studio apartment was very nice with a nice closet space, a large sink area and counter, and room enough in the shower and toilet area that you could get a walker in and move around comfortably. It was very adequate for a dresser, a bed, a chair, and a little table. It was just beautifully arranged and nicely painted. We were very impressed with it. There was a nice big window letting light in. Overall, the facility was lovely. They had a nice activity room with a wall of windows, and everything in terms of their activities was in the center of the building.

Melody Living Lake in the Hills was our favorite location so far. It was very clean, they had a pipe burst from the cold, but everything was still separate. They were doing a really nice job of working around it. They said they had an outbreak of COVID, so people were in their rooms, but the facilities in the common areas looked really nice. They had a nice outdoor area as well, and the coordinator we worked with went above and beyond to make us feel like it could be a good fit. They did an awesome job. They had a movie theater and there were areas you could rent out if you wanted to have a party space or something.

I had an in-person tour of Melody Living Lake in the Hills. The facilities were very well taken care of. They had a lot of activities for the people. I even met some of the older people that live there, which was very nice. If I were a bit older, I'd check myself in. The location was good for my family. The facilities were good. The menus looked good. The place was extremely clean. The unit I only looked at was a studio apartment. The studio apartments were very sufficient in size and quality. It has nice windows that you can see out of, so you don't feel like you're in a cave. It was a great experience. The dining area was very nice. The tables were nicely set with nice bright light, which I think is very important for people. The staff was very informative, answered every one of my questions, and even gave me more ideas that would work for my mom.

We went to tour Melody Living Lake in the Hills. It was beautiful and new, and everything was very nice, and they had a lot of services. There are lots to do there. It's just a lot bigger and it's just too much for what we were looking for. My parents are older, they're going to stay in their apartment most of the time, so they're not going to use the stuff that's offered over there. The one staff lady that we met was very good and very informative. I just felt that the bedrooms were a little crowded to put two people in. They didn't offer extra space when it's a couple going in. In terms of amenities, they have everything you can imagine, it was like a beautiful resort.

Melody Living Lake in the Hills has been great. My father's room is just perfect for him. They have physical therapy, movies, and other activities provided for their residents. They also have a separate family lounge. It's clean and well-maintained. I like the communication that they have with the family.

Melody Living Lake in the Hills was new and had the right assisted living component to it. They had very friendly and personable staff. It's also very clean. They had daily specials but you could work off the menu. They had a physical therapy on-site, a salon, a bunch of wonderful patios (with stuff for the kids who are visiting), a little bistro area, and a variety of dining rooms.

My mom is at Melody Living Lake in the Hills. They're very friendly and the place is immaculate. She needs a lot more care and rvery once in a while it's lacking a little bit, but for the most part it's real good. She's got two fantastic CNAs, and they're just great. Their food is absolutely excellent. I've eaten with my mom and my other relatives there, and it's the best. I just love the way they do their lunches and their meals. They go down there, somebody comes and gets their order, and it's just smooth. The design of the rooms is good. The upkeep itself as a whole is fine. There's plenty of things for them to do. They get a monthly calendar and the activities are really good.

My sister is in Melody Living Lake in the Hills. They were in quarantine, so I haven't seen her yet, but I talk to her all the time. It should take a little adjusting, but they're being taken care of for sure. She likes the food. She says there's plenty of food, and it's very good. She has no complaints about the staff. Activities are available, but they've just been out of quarantine, so they haven't done them that much. I had one meal on the 1st day we moved in, and it was very good. It is too expensive, but they have a beautiful and lovely apartment.

My Mom lives here and there are not enough words to say how wonderful everything about Melody Living is. The Executive Director, Maria, has put together a team second to none. Extremely professional and experienced, kind and compassionate, plus full of energy and ideas to care for the residents. These people know what they are doing and how to care for the seniors. We know Mom is safe and that's so important! Also have to say the food is excellent; the the buildings and rooms are beautiful. If you have a senior that needs Assisted Living or Memory care, do not hesitate to check out Melody Living - you won't be sorry and am sure you will immediately sign them up.
