Designed to serve adults 62 and older who may need some help to maintain their independence, Heritage Woods of Huntley assisted living provides a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or struggling alone at home.
Heritage Woods of Huntley is conveniently located on Regency Parkway, west of Hwy. 47 and north of Sun City Huntley, in Huntley, Illinois. Known as the "Friendly Village with Country Charm," Huntley, Illinois, is located just north of Interstate 90 in northern Kane/southern McHenry County.
Our mission at Heritage Woods of Huntley is to provide seniors with more of what is important to them and to their families. We operate with the philosophy that the need for occasional assistance doesn't have to mean giving up one’s dignity, privacy or aspiration to make choices.

My mother is in Heritage Woods of Huntley. It's moderate. The rooms are nice, and she got a one-bedroom suite. The food is OK, but not good. The dining hall is good. They have music performers, they do group crafts, they do bingo and church visits, and they have pets come to visit the residents. The staff is friendly, but they're shorthanded. The atmosphere is pleasant. They just need more staffing to better accommodate the residents' needs.

Everyone seemed like a family at Heritage Woods of Huntley. All the residents, the people that work there, even the cleaning people gave us a very good feeling about the place. Megan showed us around and she was wonderful. She answered all our questions. So, she was great. As far as pricing goes, it was right in our price range, and it was just beautiful.
One of the resident's family members was playing the piano, which was nice for the residents. They were having a happy hour and were playing bingo when we got there. They were all engaging and having a good time. They sent me something about a barbecue party they will have and that all families are invited to, and I thought that was great.

I went to look at Heritage Woods of Huntley. I was happy with it. I was shocked at the cost. I was glad that there were as many services on-site as there were. The doctor comes there once a month, and that's kind of nice. I thought the facility was adequate. The studio apartments were way too small for my mother. It would have to be a one-bedroom. They have activities. I wish there were more outdoor spaces for summertime. I didn't see any outdoor spaces. All I saw was the chair in the front door. The staff members were very friendly and helpful.

I toured Heritage Woods of Huntley. It seemed like an excellent facility with very friendly staff, and the activities they offered were great. The rooms were a decent size; we looked at a one-bedroom. They offered arts and crafts, games, movie nights, cards, and a library.

My mother has been a resident for four years. I cannot say enough good things about Heritage Woods’ Assisted Living! The facility is clean and well kept. The staff is exemplary from the administrator to the housekeepers. It’s a very warm and friendly environment, and they provide daily activities for the residents. They have done an excellent job of communicating with family members and have handled the COVID crisis with creativity, doing their best to help us visit our loved ones in person or virtually. They treat Mom as their own which makes all the difference, especially during these troubling times.

Heritage Woods of Huntley was a very nice place, but it was very expensive. It was a modern facility. It was nice from my point of view. The rooms and the dining room were all very nice. It was all brand new.

The place is convenient as it is just near to my house. It's good that they have a lot of people living there who needs assisted living but who do not have memory problems. It's a place that I would consider for respite care. The staff seemed pleasant.

5 STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!! for Heritage Woods. My Mom fell and she stayed in Heritage Woods for 4 months. EVERYONE was fantastic. This Assisted Facility Home had the greatest staff.... Nurses, Lifestyle director, Waitresses, waiters, Chef.. They cared as much as our family cared for my Mom. My Mom eventually went back home. The decorations for theholidays was beautiful the home was immaculate and I give everything about HERITAGE a 5 STAR PLUS RATING!!!! Thank you for taking care of my Mom during a very stressful time.
