I was a resident of Brentwood North Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre. It was great, but it was just really confined. They had more cameras than a casino in there. Their staff was more hands on, and food was always brought to you. They were more cautious when I first came because they did not know me. Everybody knew everybody's name. The food was definitely restaurant quality and you could eat as much as you want over there. They were rated as one of the top 5 of the State. They were very, very close, and very confined, and that is because Covid is still present there. It is a 1-story, and everybody was in wheelchair. They were very clean, and their maintenance was excellent. Everything was done inside, and they had a lot of people that really needed nursing, and at one point I did, too. You're more than likely to have a roommate. They had activities. Different hallways would have bingos and things like that. They will take every penny that you have to your name. They'll take disability and Medicaid. They will take everything, and they give you $30 to play with for a month. That is standard nursing home law currently. You have full-time nursing with doctors, nurses, and CNAs, and things of that nature. When I got there, they had just been bought. They remodeled 90% of the rooms, new roof, new sprinkler system, and they had patios.

The entire atmosphere at Brentwood was very welcoming. The staff was very warm and very polite, and they were concerned of the services given. They have the heart for serving the seniors, and you can tell that the quality of services they were giving was wonderful. They had one-on-one activities that cater to every skill that they were trying to put back to the seniors. They were trying to make them busy, they were not left behind, and they were busy in their own time frame. They were not rushed but catered according to their needs. It has a spacious ground where they can go out, have some fresh air, or be pushed around, and there was a lounging chair where they can sit. They have a little library, an activity room, and a dining room. The activity room was great for a lot of activities because not everyone there had the same likes and dislikes, so they were catered according to what they have in mind. They can read books or do puzzles, crafts, or make flower arrangements. I am impressed actually. I was able to go to their kitchen because I asked for water, but is was done intentionally because I wanted to see inside the kitchen. Oh my goodness! It was organized and very clean. It was beautiful, and the people there were calm as if they had nothing to hide at all.

I am in Brentwood, and it is a full care nursing home. The service is great. I am the president of the residents. I will recommend them highly. If they will come for a tour, they will see the good services that are provided here.
