Lake Forest is great, it's a buy-in, it's expensive, and the people there are mostly local people. The staff took me around, and I've gone to a couple of their functions -- which were wonderful. They have a swimming pool, and many people would come in and speak there. The dining area was newly remodeled, it's very nice, and the food was very good.

Lake Forest is lovely but expensive. The staff is very friendly, and I have friends who lived there and loved it. The rooms were very nice but small. The food was good, and the dining area was very attractive.

I decided on this place because I could take my dogs and cats with me.

My mom is at Lake Forest Place, which is convenient to us, my work, and my home and has nice grounds where my mom can walk. It is a nice social community with very good rehab, also, which was a big selling point for us. I will very much recommend it. Everyone is very nice and very helpful. It is the perfect fit for my mother.

Lake Forest had everything that one would possibly need for such a facility. They have four or five variations of services depending on your needs. The staff appeared to be very professional and well groomed. This place is the best of all the places we saw.

My father will be moving to Lake Forest Place in the next week or so. It is our choice because my father has some friends over there and the facilities are nice. The amenities are quite extensive. The staff is very friendly and involved in the resident's care and comfort. The quality of the apartment and the decor stands out to me. It is a one-bedroom but very spacious. The food is excellent. I recommend it to others.

As independent living residents of Lake Forest Place for 15 years we have been and are in awe of the pleasant, friendly and capable surroundings. Staff are very competent. We have both received postoperative nursing and rehabilitative care second to none. An important plus are the many new close friendships as well as a few resident friends from our prior residence. Further, as a not-for-profit organization, we are guaranteed lifetime care even, God for bid, our resources become depleted.
