This place is amazing!!!! Lauren Heard my need for my grandmother and got her in quick. She followed up and made sure everything was done from start to finish. This girl energy is unheard of and I love it. My Brother took sometime off work and wee only had a week. I walked in and she was dancing with the residents at her event, I can tell they love her. Her EMPATHY/energy is everything to my family and I cant thank her enough. She didn't feel rush and had patience to deal with this quick... Great decision!!!

Victory Centre of South Chicago was nice. When I came in, they had a band playing. It was cool to see letting the other people who live there interact and hear music back from when they were growing up. I love the activities that they had going on there, too. The person who showed me around was very upfront, very friendly, and just very straightforward in terms of what it was going to be like and what the places looked like. I only saw a studio apartment and it was very nicely put together with low countertops and smaller refrigerators. They had the place where the band was playing, so that's their music place. They also showed me an open area for just relaxing, do board games, or just watching TV. They had three or four open spaces. They offer transportation for the people who live there, to get to and from the store or to get to and from a doctor. The facility was very nice and clean, nothing was unsanitary, and nothing smelled bad. Everything was very well put together. The area was a little bit rough around the edges, but the building itself and the staff were good.

My brother is at Victory Centre of South Chicago and the people that work there are very helpful. I have a lot of good things to say about the place. It is beautiful. Residents can control their own heat and air in their own rooms. They have a full-size refrigerator, a microwave, and a little shelf just outside the door where they can put a memorial, like a flower vase or stuffed animal or whatever. They have laundry facilities and sitting rooms with television. They provide them with three meals a day, but they are not sufficient enough for the seniors. They have a lot of pork liver. They don't have a variety of good foods. My brother also said that housekeeping is not up to par, although he keeps his own room spotless, clean, and organized because that's the kind of person he is. They washed his clothes and things for him, but he prefer to wash his own things. Instead of letting the people come in and sit down in the dining area while they're preparing the food, residents had to sit outside in line, and he doesn't like that either, because he things they're treating them like kids. Other than that, I think it's a very nice and clean place. They have physiotherapy, a nurse, and doctors on staff, as well as outside activity in the yard where they have a big Christmas tree and they do barbecues. They also have a barbershop/beauty shop.

I can't think of the young lady name but she was pregnant and tall. I was so overwhelmed and she calmed my nerves about placement for my mom and gave me a new view on how to look at things. The room was clean that she showed me the Building smelled refreshing. Her personality was great and the things she stated about the staff that worked there was reassuring. The residents had a great attitude about living there one lady stated she lived there 7 years and she loves it. Im looking to move mom in once her lease is up and hopefully im not to late because I can see why people love it there..

Victory Centre of South Chicago was a lively place. The staff and the rooms were very nice. It almost had a hotel feel to it. The young lady took me around and showed me their activities and they have a lot going on. She was telling me about a prom night coming up in May and a casino night in June where friends and family could come in and play some games. They had a lot of people that were in the lobby area and everybody looked to be enjoying each other's company. It was nice.

The rooms at Victory Centre of South Chicago were very nice, clean, and had a nice view. The heat was ample. They had a ping-pong table, a pool table, games, television, and stretching exercises. The food was ample and scheduled, but you can always have soup or something else, and that was readily available for eight to 10 hours. The staff was excellent in explaining everything.

I visited Victory Centre. The place was beautiful. I thought it was a really nice place for my dad, but was more high maintenance and needed more care. The staff was very interactive, very thorough, and engaged with the residents. The rooms were really nice, very clean, spacious enough for those who were disabled. I was really impressed with the place because that's really where I wanted him, but he needed more supervision and more care. They had activities. They took them on trips. The dining facility was very clean and well-maintained. I liked the location; the staff, I liked everything. It was phenomenal. It was awesome, but because my dad required more care, I had to find another place.

What I like most about Victory Centre of South Chicago was that it was close, and all of the people had pleasant personalities. One thing I did not like was the room. It was big, and you have to furnish it yourself. It is nice for those who live south. It is a perfect place.

I went to Victory Center and had a tour because a lot of other people recommended it to me to check them out, so that’s what I did. I liked what I saw, and the staff was great. I spoke with the residents there, and they liked it there. The atmosphere was really nice and loving. There are a lot of activities for them to do there. They have a pool table, and they have a sewing class and arts and crafts.
