I chose Victory Centre of Roseland for my aunt because I just fell in love with it. It is very welcoming and pleasant. Every employee that I came across was very nice. Now that my aunt is there, they are so helpful with her. I'm so happy she's getting around OK. She loves them. She told me how everybody is so nice to her and how they speak to her. They call her by her name, and that is important to her. The place is lovely and just friendly. She is doing well going to the dining room. She is loving it because it is so close by. The moment she steps off the elevator, the dining room is right there. Her apartment is not far from the elevators, too. It's just so convenient. They do movies, and they have a salon. They have just been really helpful.

My father moved into the Victory Centre of Roseland last November. The location was convenient, it was near my home, and it was ten to fifteen minutes away. When I went there it seemed to be a fairly decent place. They give him his meals and things of that nature. He hasn't been there long. Covid has a lot to do with things that happen. The staff has been very accommodating of your needs. I think they're good. He has plenty to eat and hasn't complained at all. They have a gym, salon, and a beautiful backyard. Those that want to smoke can go out and smoke. They've got a little workout area for your grandchildren. If you want to bring the little ones they can play. So I think that's nice. They got birds, they got a piano, and they played music. So that's pretty good. I think they do a good job under the circumstances.

The way Victory Centre of Roseland was laid out was very nice. The apartments are beautiful and everybody seemed to be interested in what was going on with the residents. It was very nice, and the residents seemed to be happy there. During my visit, they were preparing for a bowling tournament using a Wii. They had a bus to take them shopping and on outings.

My first impression of Victory Centre was fine. The staff was polite and knowledgeable. The rooms were suitable and fine. They had a nice outline of activities. The dining area looked fine. The grounds were well kept.

I spent many hours and days applying to Victory Centre, and after all of my time spent on the application process, they told us that my mother-in-law could not live there because she did not qualify. She has too many needs, and they couldn't do anything with her, so I was very disappointed. I wasn't very happy with it; it was too dark. They are already seniors, and I think they need to be in a more vibrant, colorful atmosphere, but theirs was not like that. But I don't think all the Victory Centres are like that. There are many Victory Centres all over the place, and I only went to one because it was close to my house. The staff wasn't bad, and the director was cooperative, but they should have evaluated her first, and then I went to the application procedure. The apartments were OK. They didn't have double apartments; they had a one-bedroom for each resident with a little kitchenette. The dining area was OK. They had some activities, but I didn't see any activity during my visit because I went on a holiday, so it was not a good time. I wouldn't recommend them. Their communication was really bad. They should have evaluated them first and then communicated. Their process needs help.

Victory Centre of Roseland is right across the street from me. It is pretty and decent. The place is very clean. The staff is very nice and warm. They serve you well as far as providing care for the seniors. It's magnificent. They have the usual activities for the seniors. They have arts and crafts and entertainment every Friday, and they have a band or somebody of that sort to come out to entertain them. However, they only have 1-bedrooms. My parents were looking for something a little bit bigger. My mother was looking for something more like a 2-bedroom, with more rooms and more space.

The facility appeared to be clean, well maintained and the staff appeared professional, attentive to the residents and skilled, however the facility also appeared to be understaffed for the number of residents and the cost was too high for the area it was located in.
