I was very impressed with Beacon Hill. The staff seemed to be very nice and pleasant, and the people seemed very satisfied. They had cards, games, a big swimming pool, and exercise room. The food was OK.

My parents are going to Beacon Hill. They're moving into an independent living apartment. The very best thing is that if and when my parents need assisted living, they do not need to move into an assisted living apartment. Assisted living comes to their apartment. Most of the other places, you go in as independent living, then you move to assisted living, and then you move to nursing home. This particular facility does not have that extra move. They have all levels of care, and the only time that my parents will have to move is if they need skilled nursing care. With regards to the staff, the longevity of the staff at this place beats any place that I was at, and they are the friendliest, warmest people that I have ever talked to. In talking to the residents, everyone says that the staff bends over backwards to help them. We just had dinner there yesterday, and the food was delicious. Food is wonderful. They have great choices on the menu. They have a big salad bar and a lovely dining room. You can be served at the table, or you can go to the buffet type of thing and they'll serve you. You can request the size of your portions. There is a dining room and a café, so the eating is just great in this place.

At Beacon Hill, the staff is very nice and very helpful. They have a tremendous amount of things for the people to do inside and outside of the building. They have concerts inside there. The food is great. They have an indoor pool. I liked that they are very friendly. I liked that there is versatility and a lot of things to do. The place is kept up very well. It is clean, neat, and well organized.

Pleasant service with above average living arrangements for my parent. Pleased with the facility and the services that are provided. On-site medical care is a major determining factor.

The staff at Beacon Hill is extremely friendly. They greeted my grandparents enthusiastically and were very knowledgeable about what the facility offered. Every staff member we passed on our tour greeted us by name. The rooms are small, but big enough for an elderly couple. Beacon Hill offers meals and a transportation service, which is nice since my grandparents no longer drive. They offer regular activities like Bingo and Garden Club, and regularly bring in high school students to volunteer and visit with the residents. Beacon Hill has an assisted living facility and a nursing home on site. This is great for couples like my grandparents who might find them selves with one person needed more substantial care than the other. Beacon Hill is also affordable, and they work with Social Security and Medicare to help residents afford their facility. Beacon Hill has a small wait list, but they communicate well with the residents to keep them informed as to when they might be able to move in.

This facility was where we took my grandmother for her full time assisted care and then end stage care when she was no longer ambulatory. I have a lot of experiences in and out of assisted living facilities being a retired Paramedic and by far this facility exceeded my expectations and hopes. The facility was always clean, the staff was very attentive and understanding of the patients and families needs. My grandmother had severe dementia and had very short term memory and they showed nothing but patience and compassion. At the end, the staff was with us to the end, comforting and caring both to my grandmother and to our entire family and even afterwards, helping with the greiving process. Should the day come where my child needs to place me in an assisted living facility, I surely hope that she would choose Beacon Hill for me.
