My father-in-law is in San Gabriel Memory Care. I like the friendly staff. The facility is clean. They have lots of activities for their residents. I just feel like it's very welcoming. When we come in, they know who we are and who our family member is that we're coming to visit. When you walk past them, they always greet you or interact with you. They're always interacting with the residents. When we're in there, they're not off on their own doing things. There's always somebody that's involved in interacting with the residents. The sink in my father-in-law's room is a little hard to work, but I also don't know if anyone has even mentioned it to them to address it. They'll have them play like Noodle Ball. They have pool noodles, and they try to hit the ball back and forth. For the women, I've seen some of them getting their fingernails painted. They have puzzles. They have entertainment come in to sing or do things like that with them. They also had a little New Year's party for the residents.

My mom is at San Gabriel Memory Care Highland. We placed her there and we have not been allowed back in because of the quarantine. Nevertheless, they have been very nice in communicating with us. I haven't had a lot of interactions with them, but we like it. I feel like there's a lot of supervision there because the place is small. They do not have a salon on site, but they have activities. They play bingo, and every Friday they have someone come in to play music. My mom, besides having dementia, has gone blind, so there are not a lot of activities that she can participate in, but they do cooking and they do bingo. The staff is very friendly. Based on what I have seen of them and what little bit of talking on the phone I have done with them, they seem very friendly and very nice. They like to get to know the patient. We're fairly happy with that. Prior to moving my mom in she went and had lunch with them. The food was very good. What we had that day was very good. I like the place. I like the whole place.
