We've chosen Addington Place of Edwardsville for my dad because it's a small facility and the rooms were of a very good size. The staff is wonderful, they take good care of him. They seem well-staffed and they take the residents to places. They're just very good with my dad. They have lots of activities. They have two big dining areas and they can go to whichever they choose to. They allowed him to have his own refrigerator and keep his own snacks in his room. The whole place was very nice. They have a courtyard where the residents can go out. It is well maintained out in the front area, and there's plenty of spaces to sit and visit if you choose to.

My husband has been in here for over a year. I think they're taking good care of him, and they have good quality food. The staff is very caring, and with Covid going on, they keep me updated with how he's doing. They do a good job of having activities and getting the residents to participate. They have a pretty big variety of activities. They always have puzzles, and every morning they have meet and greet where they come around and talk to them about current events and things like that. Before Covid, they had a lot of music performers come in and that was very nice. We took his own furniture and TV there. The room has a nice closet area and bathroom, and that's about it.

It was very nice. I was just concerned because they did not have very many patients there when everybody else had a waiting list. That was very concerning to me. The residents were all sitting there playing bingo when we looked around. The people that were working there seemed very nice.

It was excellent. I really liked it. It gave that effect that the person would have their independence because it's apartment style, but it's still a secured community. It was clean and nice. The staff was excellent. The social service worker even called a week later to check on me. The rooms were modern.
