My mom moved into Melody Living Lake in the Hills last month. There's a very good ratio of the staff to individuals, and they take very good care of their clients. Her room is an adequate size for memory care. They take very good care of the area, of the different floors, it's very nicely decorated, nicely kept up, and clean. Memory care has all activities on their floor, so it's more of an open dining area with the TV sitting area and everything. So it's very nice, and it keeps them all together. They have arts and crafts, they have religious ceremonies on Sundays, they have puzzles available, and they let them help with cleaning tables. They interact with them and they give them tasks to make them feel like they're contributing.

I looked at Melody Living Lake in the Hills. It was very nice too, but the distance was the issue. I didn't want to travel that far. The staff was very nice, and on that day very attentive as well. The tour was good. The rooms were nice and well laid out. It was brand new.
