I chose Windsor Manor. It outbeat everything I looked at from the staff to the residents; it was top of the line. Not only were the residents happy, but the staff was happy. It was very well organized. My aunt chose a 1-bedroom; her apartment was big enough, but not too big. The whole place was clean from the minute you walked in the door. The next thing that drew me there was the cafeteria where you go and eat. What I liked best is the cafeteria had a full time kitchen staff, and you were not required to eat at any specific time. They always ran a special, and if you didn’t like that, you ordered off of a menu. For their fee, they’re given 3 meals a day. When she has guests, they can also eat lunch or supper. There is a fee, but the fee is very reasonable; the food is excellent. It’s 30 minutes away from me, but that didn’t bother me. They have a lot of activities for the people. My aunt was very active, they had a courtyard big enough to walk in, and you could sit outside in. It had a gazebo and a sidewalk that went around the building, so she can also walk outside. I just think from the meals to the cleanliness to the staff, it’s a very pleasant place to be. I highly recommend them to anyone. I had a cousin from Illinois, and she had a father-in-law that had been into a facility in Illinois, and she just loved Windsor Manor. She said she has never seen anything like it. To me, that says a lot for it.

Windsor Manor was a gorgeous place. Sadly, the facility was too expensive for us. The manager was really helpful. The rooms were very modern and upscale.
