Little staff. Staff looks overworked. Food is terrible. Dinning room staff is rude. Only snacks they give out are old cookies. Would not recommend.

My mother was there for 6 weeks and required assistance with going to the toilet and required staff to bring her meals to her Room. On numerous occaisions when she called for staff to assist her to go to the toilet staff didn't respond for an hour or more, sometimes not at all. Therefore she had to get herself up to use the toilet. Many times when they did respond and got her out of bed and onto the toilet they left her there for anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes. So my mom would put herself back in bed and due to this she fell approximately 7 times while she was at Touchstone. Also on several occaisions staff forgot to bring her food to her Room. My mother would have to call family members to bring her something to eat. I talked with the administrator about these issues at least 3 times and Still the same issues continued. I would never recommend this facility for anybody. When you pay to have your loved ones taken care of you want to know that they really are being taken care of and not ignored for hours during the day, every day .

My mom was in Touchstone. The food was not very good and it was very cold so she did not eat very well. They did not seem to have enough staff and it was always hard to get someone to help her. The staff was nice to her, but there was not enough of them. The cleanliness and maintenance was good. Mom was in a private room and it was nice. It was a home for her.

These folks took care of a family member who was in the final stages of cancer. The care they gave him touched all of our hearts. They were prompt to arrive when called, the place was as clean as could be, and the people who work there are nothing short of angels.
