Regency Care Center is gorgeous. Any person that needs assisted living would be immensely happy here, and not to mention I want to add they don't necessarily have to wait for the elderly waiver. They will help them get this stuff going. It was just a really lovely place. There are a lot of assisted living places you cannot get into because your elderly waiver does not kick in until after two years of paying private pay, this place is not like that. They will take your waiver, and they will let your waiver pay it from the get-go. It's beautiful, gorgeous, and it's all brand new. I wish my mom would have been in their level of care, but that's not what she needed. She needs more care, and more assistance. They have a nursing home and assisted living on site. They have a garden patio. They can cook out, and they have full access to it all the time. They have a library and several seating areas throughout the home if you had company. They have a beauty salon. They take them shopping or they go shopping for them. They do a lot of activities. This is such a cool assisted living place. They have their own little apartments. There's no stove, just a microwave, and a fridge, but they can go into a common area where there are stoves available if they want to cook their own meal under supervised care. But they can use their cooking facilities with someone like their family. They can have dinner with their family, and they can cook on their own if they want, with the assisted living nurses. Their dining area was gorgeous, it looked like a five-star restaurant, and it's beautiful. The lady that gave us the tour, her name's Grace. These places that I toured gave me a lot of hope for my mom. What I'm trying to convey to other people is, that no one's saying you're a bad person because you're doing this. There are people out there that really do care and do help. So, I just want people to be able to go talk to these places if they need help because they'll help them.
