My grandmother lives at Eagle Pointe Place, so I've been there. They have nice rooms, and they have a lot of different things for the residents. The facility is well taken care of. However, we've had some issues with the staff. My grandmother likes the food. They have card games, and they have music groups. They have an activity director that is always pretty good at getting activities out to the residents. As for value for the money, they're right along with everybody else. They have a microwave and a refrigerator included in the apartment.

The guy from Eagle Pointe Place was very helpful. He showed us almost everything and was very helpful. He told us to call back if we thought of any questions, so overall, I thought he did a good tour. The rooms were nice. They're smaller, but they had a good amount of storage area for the size of the apartment. The dining area was also nice. They didn't have much of a courtyard as there were no trees.

I went to the Eagle Pointe Place. The tour was good, they were very informative, and they showed us all the amenities they have. We were happy with it. The staff was very pleasant, the rooms were nice, and they were clean. I really don't have anything negative to say about the place. The staff member, Mckenzie, she was very friendly and very informative. The choices of food looked nice, and the dining area was very clean. She said they had a lot of gatherings, socials, and yesterday they were doing fifties sock hop thing because you're looking at those age dynamics. That would interest my parents, to get to listen to music, and there's a lot of social stuff -- whether it's playing cards, bingo, and it's just like there's a lot of options for them to get out and do stuff if they choose.

Eagle Pointe Place was a very nice facility. The staff was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I would definitely send my parents there, if my father was more independent. It's a great environment for someone who would like some interaction with others and community meals, but then have their privacy as well. There also is the safety and security of staff on site.
I toured their assisted living about 6 to 7 weeks ago. I felt like it was a safe place to leave my dad. He would get the care he needed. It was aesthetically pleasing, and the services they offered were what I think others would want. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We really only met the admissions person, but those that we interacted with on the tour were great too.
They had an extra feature you don't usually see with the pool there. They had a salon on-site, and the rest of it was just very nice. I would have liked to see a better outdoor space. There was no walking path, and I'm not sure if we just didn't see it because we didn't go outside.

Eagle Pointe Place was okay, except that there was no memory care per se. Everybody was together, there was no lockdown place for the memory care patients. So they were able to just walk around, in and out. Some doors weren't locked, that they could even get outside, possibly. Now, they assured me that if they see a patient that they know is a dementia patient, that they would keep a closer eye on them so they couldn't get out. But it just made me a little nervous. It's a very nice facility. I just don't think it was for my husband, because he needs a little bit more care than what they offer. We saw a studio and a 1-bedroom. When you first come in the front door, they have a big common room there. Then there's the dining room that's off of that, that's kind of a common room where they do some activities and stuff in-between mealtime. They have a pool which kind of made me nervous too, because what if he gets in the pool and forgets how to swim. But the staff said that the pool was pretty shallow. It's only three feet on one end, and four feet on the other end. But I don't think they need to have freedom or access to a pool. And that was another area that wasn't locked in. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It seems the residents were participating when we were there. They were in the common area, they were chatting, and a couple of them were listening to some music. Just looking at the menu, the food all seemed healthy and appetizing. They had good choices as far as entrees and side dishes go. And they had a lot of snacks, like afternoon and morning snack items listed that were choices.

My sister had her own little apartment at Eagle Pointe Place. She had her bed, a living room and kitchenette. They came to her room and did her therapy. The meals were good. She got along okay there. They helped her with her bathing and in and out of bed, and towards the end of the 30 days, she was able to do that herself. She said she had good food, and she always had enough to eat. Activity wise, they tried to keep them entertained, made sure that their cable TV was working, and they had puzzles in their room or books to look at and read. The staff was excellent. The first day we helped her move in, they were very accommodating, asked her what she needed, and did what she wanted. She wanted her showers towards evening, so they did it. They did the best they could under the circumstances. We didn't get to see much of the facility because of the virus, but the little part that I saw was great. They came around every day to make sure that she had what she needed or she had something that occupied her time, so she wasn't sitting there bored. She never complained about anything. She was happy with everything.

Eagle Pointe Place was very nice, but they did not have facilities for Alzheimer's patients. It’s clean and very modern. It has a lot of people, and they’re friendly. There’s a lot of room for my brother to sit outside and visit. The staff was very pleasant. The lady didn’t know a few things that we asked her, but she did get back to us on it.

Eagle Pointe is nice and large, but my husband’s main objection is that it’s so large. It’s a long way from the apartment to the main center, elevator, or the main door, or even to go down for a meal. They had a handicap unit, two-bedroom units, and a one-bedroom unit with a sitting room and kitchenette. Some of their units didn’t have a full stove, just a toaster oven and a microwave; however, they said you could use the ones that they had downstairs.

Eagle Point Place was very nice with really good food. The rooms were very nice and had big closets and a very nice view outside the window. The staff people were very nice. It seemed like there were a lot of activities that they try to get all the patients involved in. They took them out to different restaurants and places.

Eagle Pointe Place was a very big complex, and my loved one did not feel very at home there. The independent living and assisted living were in separate wings of the complex, and she would have to move should she need assistance later on. They had a private dining room for families off of the main dining area. They charge extra monthly for the pendant GPS. The single room was actually larger than in most places I've seen.

I visited Eagle Pointe Place. It had a swimming pool. It was very nice, but I think it needed a little more upkeep. Cleanliness was tolerable. The staff was very nice. The rooms were small, but comfortable. Everyone seemed to be having a good time in the dining room. I would say it was safe.

Our experience was very pleasant at Eagle Pointe Place. The residents seemed very happy, and the staff was very nice. The accommodations appeared to be very nice as well. The apartments and the atmosphere were very pleasant. There were a lot of activities going on. They had some games, and some were relaxing out in the open area, reading, or just watching outside. I was impressed with the activities, the residents, the openness, and how relaxed it seemed. We weren't there for a meal, but they had a salad bar, and the dining room looked very nice, open, and clean.
