Bickford of Cedar Falls was outstanding. It was very homey. It was very nice and very friendly. It was clean. People were nice and polite. They had no problem showing us what was available and talking to other clients that were in the rooms to see if we could look at their rooms. It's a very small community. It was only like 22 beds, and so we saw a medium room that was open. We got to meet some of the people there by doing that, and it was a great experience. They had like a kitchenette with a studio. It was just a microwave and a small refrigerator. The studio had a single bed, and the one bedroom had a double bed or a full-size bed. The kitchen was set up the same. It had a small refrigerator. You have to supply your microwave, but it's still a very small kitchenette. So, it was good. It's what my mom needed. Everything is inclusive. They have common areas where they get together and do exercise. They also paint. They let people know when they're going to be starting so that they can do it also. If they don't remember the time or they haven't looked at a calendar, they are made aware that that is going to start, so they can just go ahead and come on in. They do family-style dining so that they can all be with each other, and they can sit down and talk and that was outstanding. The only thing that's a drawback, it was a very small dorm refrigerator. That's the only thing that we didn't care about. We would get a different dorm refrigerator so that she could have her Frigidaire and her freezer separated.

Bickford of Cedar Falls was very welcoming and very homey. When I came in, they were doing an activity with the residents in the living area. They're very kind. It was really expensive though. They offered it to where if mom's health declined, she'd be able to stay in the same facility. There would be no transfers or anything like that, and the level of care would just exceed obviously. They had a locked down facility if you needed it, and it's heavily secure. It was quite homey, just a little expensive. They had in-house physical therapy, they were doing an arts and crafts thing in the living room, they had movie nights, and there was just a lot of interaction among the residents. The hallway was very long. Mom's room, and she's got scoliosis really bad, would have been a long haul for her to the main dining area.

Our overall experience with Bickford of Cedar Falls was really good. It was a very nice place. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating to us. When we came to visit, they were prepared and answered all our questions. It was tough not to take my mom there; it was a very nice place. The facility was beautiful, well decorated, and very clean. She gave us a tour of the entire place. She showed us all the apartments, and they were all very nice. We saw the menu but we didn't try the food. They had lot of good choices. It was well-balanced.

My mother is in Bickford of Cedar Falls. They're very friendly and it's a clean facility. The staff has been wonderful, so far. She said it's pretty good food, and it's all homemade. Visitors have to wear masks.

Bickford of Cedar Falls was very beautiful. The game rooms were very nice and the person who gave us the tour, Kelsey, did a wonderful job answering any questions that I had. She's very welcoming, she had cookies and was waiting for me for the visit so that was nice. She even had a sign that said, "Welcome, Diane" outside so they went through some extra little things to make it very personal as well. The other thing I liked is that they had a courtyard that the residents can go in and out of and they don't have to be assisted out. They can go out by themselves in the garden with lots of flowers and vegetables and all of that. They have bingo, crafts, and they gave me the calendar of events that was posted in the hallway but I didn't look closely into it. The staff also said their food is homemade, everything is homemade. The facilities were clean and it did not smell. There was music playing in the family room with the fireplace going. They seem to go the extra mile to make the residents feel like they're in a home environment.

Bickford of Cedar Falls' rooms are adequate and seemed nice. They had a rec room and a TV area. The dining area seemed alright, and the staff seemed pretty decent, friendly, and caring.

Bickford of Cedar Falls is very nice, but they were way too overpriced for what you get with their rooms. They were OK, but I don’t think they're equipped for elderly people as far as not including a refrigerator in the room, just a small one down the hall. The place was beautiful and clean, and the staff was very friendly. I was not able to eat there, but I saw the beautiful dining area wherein you order your meals off a menu. I didn’t see a lot of activities at the time of my visit, but they had a lot of activities scheduled.

My dad is at Bickford. We like the clean feel about it and the location. They’re doing a good job. They help my dad with everything that he needs, like taking a bath and going to the bathroom.

My mom is here, and it is a good place. She has been there for two or three months. I like that it is clean, the staff is nice, and they do a lot of activities. There is a little courtyard in the middle of the building. The building is locked down, and they cannot get out. She is doing fine, and they are taking good care of her. The food is good. They have a little menu every day and ask them what they want. The serve them like a little restaurant style. That's why they think they were in a restaurant.

I chose it because it was something close to where I live, and it was comfortable for my father. It is very clean, and the people that work there are really, really nice. I am absolutely satisfied.

Bickford of Cedar Falls was just fine, I don’t have any problems. The staff was very friendly. The lowest costs of rooms were very small, and as they went up in price of course they got bigger. The bathroom seemed like they were room maneuver for somebody. They brought us some snacks, and that was good. I think they have a lot of activities, and the residents that I saw seemed to be active and happy.
