I have never had the pleasure of visiting a PHC and I hope all nursing homes aren't reflected by the horrors I was unfortunate enough to see. Dirty everywhere I looked. Unsanitary kitchen and the rooms where filthy. The staff was rude and the residents seem to stay in the rooms when in the facility. Clothes on residents dirty and they looked very unkept. Would not suggest to anyone for a caring relative.

My niece is in Mahoney's Personal Care Home, and she enjoys watching TV and walking around the facility. They serve three meals a day. They have very limited amenities, but the staff is friendly. It's a homey place, and it's organized and clean.
