I ended up choosing The Lodge at Bethany for my mom, and they have been wonderful. They are over the top. The place is very cozy. The aides and the nurses, no matter what time you call, give you time and they listen. And if they know something better, they make suggestions. It's just awesome. My mom gained more daughters with the aides and nurses there. They care and they show it. You can always find a nurse or an aide on the floor, there's always somebody somewhere. They celebrate all kinds of things like they celebrate Peanut Day, National Assisted Living Day, and residents' birthdays. They do puzzles, dominoes, eat out, walking clubs, and gyms. Everything there has been great.
