First of ALL Scepter Rehabilitation was brought out by who ever owners are of Parkside. What are the rooms like at Parkside, well lets see. The Ombudsman need to be called, because there was a bucket on top of my Father Cabinets catching rain water. The rooms are small and dirty, very smelly, they want to call it Semi-private and Private room. How in the world do you put two people into a Semi-Private rooms, which are small and you are charging them to pay anywhere $1000-3000. per person into a small semi-private room....WOW!. In a Private room some here again they are crappy. They are for a private room charging some residence $1000.00 to 2000.00. My Father, (which is not hardly there) charging him $3000.00 for a very dirty room. There are NO amenities other than Memory care using coloring books...WHAT! coloring books and the workers are teasing some of the residents there and yes I said teasing residents there. I watched it first hand myself.

We have already found a place for Mother. She has been at Scepter Assisted Living (Parkview Living Center) for three months now. I like the cleanliness of this place. They have a friendly atmosphere. They look more like a home than a senior living facility. I like the friendliness of the staff. They are very good. I also like what activities that they have there for their residents.

The service and the caring that is given at Parkview Living Center is top notch. They always treated my grandmother with the respect and care that she deserved. She had Alzheimer's disease and she was not the easiest person to get along with, but the caring workers at Parkview Living Center really tried their hardest. I spent many Sunday mornings with her and I would stay to eat lunch sometimes and the people were always so nice. They are also very knowledgeable in some medical fields which provided a great reassurance with leaving my grandmother in their care. The always remembered my name and always knew when I would be coming in on Sunday mornings. They were very polite and courteous when she finally passed on and I'm glad she was able to spend her final years in a nice place. I would recommend Parkview Living Center to anyone who is considering and assisted living place for themselves or for a loved one. My experience is as good as it gets.
