My mother was in Atria (Atria Johnson Ferry) for 2 years. It was a beautiful place. It was excellent all the way around. It was a very nice operation and a beautiful place. We ate there all the time, and food was fine.
Again, Atria Johnson Ferry was well-run and very well maintained. They had activities everyday. They would take people out for outings if they want. You can choose what outing you want to go or if you want to go out to stores, they would take you out that way also. They're very accommodating. The dining area was first class. It was very nice. It was beautiful also. I couldn't ask for anything more. My mother's room was very nice too.

We liked how small Atria Johnson Ferry was, but it didn't seem as vibrant inside. It seemed nice, and the people we met were nice. The rooms were not as nice. It was fine.

My father-in-law was at Atria Johnson Ferry. We found it through a website. The facilities were extremely nice, clean, and decorated in a traditional style that was very homey. The staff was extremely interested in getting to know my father-in-law and had as many people calling him by name as possible, which I think is great. They also showed a great interest in helping him meet people who were already there that might become friends or their buddies. That was also nice because he was going into a completely different lifestyle. He was there for two or three months. The rooms were what you expect -- e.g., there was enough room for a bed and maybe a dresser and chair. They were basic rooms. They have other larger suites that have a living area with a kitchen, more space to put a sofa, and a place to visit with people. My father-in-law got the larger size, and we were very pleased with the space. With regards to meals, they accommodate my father-in-law when his schedule didn't allow him to have a meal within the regular timeframe. They would make him a turkey sandwich on the fly -- so to speak -- outside of their regular hour which we appreciated. Several times a week, they have a happy hour. They have a game room where there were ongoing activities like puzzles, bingo, board games, and crafting. They also bring in live music and karaoke. They also have scheduled visits to different shops, grocery stories, etc. They have a committee who helps give input on what the residents would like to do. I felt very good about security.

The people were wonderful at Atria Johnson Ferry. I thought the rooms and apartments were interesting and well designed. The food was good, and the dining room was very nice. They seemed to be very well rounded. They have activities like singing and cards, and they bring in different performers. The facility seemed very secure.

Atria is a personal care home, and they have the best food and the best staff of any place on the planet. They are awesome. I really like them. The only thing is they only have personal care home.
The thing that I like best about the place is the staff is very young, observant, and alert. They are not there to do a job; these people are really devoted. I love them.
The nurse was helpful; she really gave me really good advice and was very supportive. Everything was so good, and they were so on top of everything. They were really attentive -- every person and even the janitor. They were aware of the mental state and the physical state and were ready to help no matter what. They had a happy hour every Wednesday I think with actual wine.

It was smaller, and I like that they didn't have as many residents. My father is a veteran, they have a full wall with all the veterans, and it was just nice. The staff was nice, and we like the room. It was more of a studio, so if people brought a wheelchair, it would not be obstructed. We were trying to look more down the road if he did end up with a wheelchair. It is more open. That's what we like about them. Atria Johnson Ferry is nice because they do more activities than just bingo. They have so much to choose from.

My mom has been at the assisted living facility of Atria Johnson Ferry since February. The facility is excellent. It’s everything we hoped it would be. It's clean. The food is not quite as good as my mother likes, but she is very picky with cooking, and the chef there doesn’t quite cook that way, so that is the only problem. With their activities, they do have activities every day, and they have an activity director. They have massage once a week.

6 days after signing a contract to move my Mom into the assisted living section at Atria, she broke her arm and had to go into rehab. While I informed Atria that she would be unable to move in, they insisted on waiting to see how the reassessment would go. After 3 weeks, the Atria nurse visited and said she could move in, but would require 24 hr personal care - at a cost of 3 times what our original contract provided. Not only would they not discuss a prorated rebate, the manager in charge would not even take the time to return my phone call. If considering this location, please go in with yours eyes open!

Atria is too far. I wouldn't want my mother that far. The facility is nice but not as new. They do have nice common areas but they don't have garden there. It has a nice atmosphere, although I felt like it is more urban and not as cozy. Nevertheless, their staff is very pleasant and they have many activities.

My mother enjoyed her stay here. They took excellent care of her every time I came to visit I'd ask her how everything was going and she never complained. Every time i came to visit her bedroom was always clean, neat, trash taken out, and she always looked great they made sure she had on clean clothes at all times. I even watched some of the staff help her with her makeup
