Addington Place has deteriorated drastically in 2022 under new management. Insufficient care is provided. The staff is rude. Rooms are not cleaned or maintained. Medications are not delivered on schedule. Many times, staff does not answer emergency call buttons. Food is not good nor nutritious. There is no activity director or nurse. The staff does not evaluate patient needs. Heating is insufficient in winter. Thermostats malfunction. Rooms are mildewed. Understaffed. Staff is not appear to be competent.

I have been living here for roughly 10 months after renting a home on a golf course I realized it was to much work for one man to take care of. I got a large studio with patio access right from my apartment. I found Addington after touring several communities and choose Addington after meeting all the staff and seeing all of the communities amenities and location. The food and living quarters have always been good. Everyone has been trustworthy and a great place to have been very pleasurable. thank you.

Our experience here has been excellent. We received helpful, unbiased advice as we were attempting to locate an appropriate senior care facility. The facility is newly renovated, bright, cheerful, and clean. The staff is friendly and supportive, and the facility is small enough so that the staff has personal involvement and interest in each of the residents. The COVID protocols seem appropriate. They require self-screening and masks for visitors but allow visits throughout the day. The food is good, although the current COVID driven use of plastic utensils and foam containers can make eating a challenge. However, the staff is always available to help if necessary. Overall, a very positive experience.

It was fine. It would be nice if they were a little more updated, but it wouldn't keep me from going there. They had furniture stored in the room that I looked at, which is not a great idea because when you want to see a room, you want to see how big it is empty. I really liked the director, but by the time I got back to her, she was no longer there. Somebody else was there, and I didn't know that was going to happen, but she was lovely.
