I liked Magnolia Manor of Macon. It's one of the older places in Macon, but it's well-kept. I liked it. The only thing I didn't care for was they did not have a walk-in shower. The few residents that I spoke with were very friendly. They seemed happy there and I know someone that lives there, and she's very satisfied. The apartment I saw had a living room and kitchen room combined with a bar that separates them. It had a very large bedroom and a large bathroom. It also had a large closet space, you could use a stove in there, and the washer and dryer were in a separate area down the hall that you could use. I met three of the staff and security and they all seemed very nice. The young lady that showed me around was extremely nice and very helpful. She had a packet of information to give me.

The Magnolia Manor of Macon was nice. The lady who assisted us was very nice, very helpful, answered all of our questions, walked us around, and showed us everything that was at the facility. That part of it was very nice because she seemed very accommodating. The residents there seemed nice too. The rooms were a bit outdated, but the facility as a whole was decent. They also have activities there. I didn't get to see any, but she told us that they have a church, and they play games like bingo. I looked at the assisted living part and the actual apartments were outdated. They were kind of gloomy with the brick walls on the interior of the apartment. It had a nice-sized balcony but everything was just outdated, like the '90s. It was just old-looking and needed to be redone. They do provide housing for seniors who have financial obstacles so for that, I feel like that's a positive thing.

I went to Magnolia Manor of Macon. I wrote a big 'no' for that one. They didn't have any choices on meals, and whatever they cooked that day is what you got to eat. They did not meet dietary needs. The staff was only so-so. The upkeep was good. They need to be more considerate on the food.

I wish my brother could go to Magnolia Manor of Macon but it's too expensive. My experience touring it was great. The staff was nice, the facility was clean, and they were avid about Covid with wearing masks and their doors locked. We didn't get to see the amenities, but I got to see the rooms and some of the grounds. The rooms were average and they could have been a little more airy. The staff was very helpful. The grounds looked clean and airy and nothing seemed to be out of place.

The facilities at Magnolia Manor of Macon were good, but it looked more like a dorm. It didn't have the flare of regular hotels. It was decent outside and had a lot of parking spaces, but the landscaping wasn't that attractive. The staff member during the tour was accommodating and friendly. The room I saw was spacious and had pretty good lighting. It was clean and had a decent atmosphere, but it felt more like an institution than a homey place.

I am in my 4th month at Magnolia Manor. It's a very comfortable place, and it's very clean. Everybody was very kind, helping, and assisting with anything and everything. The only complaint I have is I don't do anything for myself, and I have to push myself more. They always plan something, and they have a van that takes the residents around to different places.

We weren't very happy with Magnolia Manor of Macon, but the rooms were just wonderful. They had huge suites with a bedroom, a living room, and a full kitchen. We just didn't have a good feeling about it.

My mother has been in assisted living at Magnolia Manor of Macon since February. It's a great place, and they take very good care of my mother. They have bingo, a swimming pool that they do aerobics in, a library, and a dining room where everybody can come in to eat. They offer three meals and two snacks a day. They have people on duty that give her medication and monitor her blood pressure. We're very pleased with what they have. Their apartment is nice, and it's conveniently located.

I visited Magnolia Manor of Macon. It was clean and well lit, and it didn't have any unpleasant odor. The apartment had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one with a tub and one with a handicap accessible shower, and a walk-through galley kitchen to a little breakfast table. They had a large room that you could use for dining and sitting area and a back porch. I had one person that met and talked with, and she walked us to the unit. I saw a list of activities that they had for the week, and they had activities like going to theater productions -- which was not too far from their location -- and shopping trips. I thought what really impressed me was the amenities in the units because it had one-car parking garage and laundry facility. It was really like living in a condominium apartment on a ground level. So, it was really nice. They had pretty grounds, and the park that we walked through was very nice.

The people working there are nice, but it's kind of an older place. My aunt actually lives there and I asked her about the place and she said she's happy being there. Their rooms were nicely decorated and the size were all right. They have arts and crafts and bingo and many other activities for the residents.
