I had a relative here recently. This is not a place for a mobile and mentally functioning individual. My aunt needs a little assistance and night company. Total disappointment. Do not leave your loved ones here. I witnessed those that could not feed themselves or speak being fed for 1-2 min a meal.

The staff treats my Mom with respect. and takes care of her needs. I trust the staff. completely. They have activities for the residents which they can participate.. Vickie is in charge of activities... what an Angel! Annette and Mrs. Smith are always ready to address your questions. Always visit your love ones often!

Nancy Hart was recommended by the doctor. It was one of the better ones in the area. The food was really good. They did have a physical therapy area. But as far as any other activities, I'm unsure of it. The staff is really nice. She's kept real clean and always fresh looking when we go down there. They even have alarms on the chair that when she gets up they know immediately. I really liked the sweetness of the staff. Also, they put her in a good room with some people she was more compatible with. That really made a big difference.

My mother has been at Nancy Hart Nursing Center since December 2011. At first there were problems but I personally believe it was a transition for Mom and the Nursing Home to get familiar with one another. Being her son, who lives over 500 miles from Elberton, I can honestly say I feel my mother is safe and well cared for. I talk with her every Sunday. She loves the staff and tells me the food is great. To Kathy Smith and ALL the staff, you have my sincere gratitude.
