The staff at Gateway Gardens was very friendly. The facility was clean and had a good smell. The activities and the menus were posted, and all looked good. So, there's a lot of transparency. The seniors were out moving about and going to activities while I was there. They were doing an activity called popsicles on the porch. The lady was very helpful, very knowledgeable, had all of the information available, and was able to answer questions quickly and well. I loved the fact that if your family member is a resident there, you can join them for meals at any time for a reasonable price. It's a large facility though, and for some people with mobility issues, it might seem a little daunting.

My mom will be moving into Gateway Gardens. I like the staff; the staff sold me. They were super friendly with each other, with the residents, and with me. I got to see them interact quite a bit. I was in there two different times, and their interaction with the residents was amazing. The environment is very clean and positive. The rooms are a good size, and the price was good. But I will say, if any one thing sold me, it was the staff. They have a small concrete walking path that is within the fenced outdoor area. They have a couple of very nice patios. Their main room is very open and spacious. It feels more like you're on vacation than in a small home-type environment. I only toured one other place and it felt like home, but Mom's not quite ready to have that feel, she needs more of an upbeat social feel, and Gateway Gardens gave us that.

My dad is a resident of Gateway Gardens. He is in assisted living. We chose it because of its proximity to our home and it has the best prices. It just has a beautiful feeling inside. The staff is great. Candy, who is the marketing director, gave the tour and helped us get everything situated to get him moved in because we had some roadblocks that she had to fix for us. She was great. I've only been in there a couple of times, but the staff seems, and the residents seem happy. I didn't have a meal, but we sat with my dad when his first meal was and it looked really good, and he ate at all. They have a big activity calendar. They have a house doctor that comes in that we're going to start using. We signed him up for a podiatrist and to get his haircut once a month. There are all kinds of stuff. There's a physical therapy room for his home health, PT and OT can come there with him. There's everything there that he needs. I also like the facility because it is one story. It looked like there are a lot of activities. I think they take them out on little outings when Covid isn't as bad as it is. It's a very nice place. My dad seems to be enjoying it so far, and I just feel a big sense of relief that he is being taken care of so well.

My husband is set to move into Gateway Gardens in Bethlehem. I went to see their assisted living. It was clean, neat, and well-organized. The staff that I met there was capable, kind, courteous, and considerate. They have a beauty shop, a salon, and a dining room. They also have exercise classes. They have a back porch overlooking a lovely area for the residents to sit and watch nature. They also have a television in the main room. They have three meals a day, plus snacks.

My tour at Gateway Gardens was OK, but after I found out how much it was, I didn't want to know anymore. The staff members who accommodated me during the tour were friendly enough. They were okay. I saw some of the rooms, but they were too small. It's a new community so the appearance of it was fine.
