My mom will be moving into the Oaks at Conyers. It's a very nice place. The staff members are very friendly, well dressed, and seem to be well versed in what they need to do. Everybody was very willing to help. It was just pleasant to be there. They have a microwave in the room. The room was very spacious. It's got a view of the outside. It's very clean and well taken care of. They had a bunch of activities.

My father is in the Oaks at Conyers. They were very hospitable. I liked what I saw. The room was much bigger than where he came from. It's more like an apartment. He can have some of his independence. I love the staff. They're very attentive and very friendly, very welcoming. My father said he likes the food better there than where he was before. It was renovated, so they got new furniture and everything. It's awesome. You walk in, it smelled good, and everything was clean. They have bingo night and movie night, but my father doesn't want to participate.

My mom moved into the Oaks at Conyers. It is a nice facility. I chose it because it was close to my daughter and to my sister who lives in Georgia. The facility is kept really nice. They have a one-bedroom apartment with a shower, a mini fridge, and a sink, but no cooking facilities. It was the perfect size for my mom. The staff is really nice. I believe she's over there during meals and activities. My mom talked about playing bingo. They have outings to restaurants, to pick up toiletries, and other stuff that they need. It's a little expensive, and it's private pay.

We went to the Oaks at Conyers. It seemed to be clean, the rooms were large. It had a kitchenette and a bedroom. In other places, she said it was remodeling more rooms. It smells clean. From what I can see, it's a clean place and I did speak to the nurse there. She went on and evaluated my mom. She was nice. Everybody seemed friendly. The meals are included. They have like a big board, she said. They give each person a copy of what they're going to have per day. They do allow them to pick out what they might want.
That was the second time I had been there, the first time I was presented with just numbers, and the young lady had called me back and I spoke to her about, when you are in sales in any of type sales, you have to show your product, I said, even though you are a little expensive if you showed a product that might make its sale. But all the time she was telling me about numbers, and then she was asking me, was there a way that I could come up with an additional seven hundred dollars, but you had to show me the facilities. And when I spoke to her over the phone, she told me the reason she stopped doing it is that people will say, "Well, you just waste my time." I said, but you can't put everybody in the same bubble if you show somebody what you have, you're more than likely to get somebody in there because my mom can't afford to pay what you're asking, doesn't mean that I couldn't possibly try to figure out a way if I see what you had to offer.
I went back the second time and had an opportunity to speak to her again and speak to the nurse, and she showed me the room. Now I see why because it is actually like an apartment. You have a bedroom, you have a living room area, you have a bathroom for the handicapped, and the shower is fixed for the handicapped with all this stuff in it. I mean, it's nice, but you have to show people that for them to see what you have to offer. When she called me that second time, I explained her treatment. I explained to her how I felt about what she had done, and I told her I would come back to see the facility. But there again, the part of the facility that she showed me was the room. I did not see where they eat unless it was the open area behind the fireplace, and I did not see where any other activities went. And that was different for me because everywhere else I've been, they've shown me all their stuff.

It was good. They showed me around the nice facility. The staff was friendly. It seemed that they were eating when I was there, and they had a nice dining area. They had menus posted, and lots of choices. I saw Memory Care, and it looked good. They had daily activities

The place is real nice, it’s clean, and all the people have been exceptionally nice to my parents. The director has gone out of his way to help us also. My parents said the food is good. The dining room is a normal room with around ten tables. They have around 4-to-5 things to do. My mother does some of the stuff, and she seemed satisfied with them.

I really like the relationships i noticed that were being built between staff and residents. I noticed some of the staff members showing companionship and friendship with some of the residents. One of the CNA's was sharing a personal photo album with of her family with one of the senior residents.

the center was very comfortable and cozy. The staff were are helpful and friendly the each were working with patients individually and treated them with tenderness and care. Many of the seniors were playing bingo and eating jello. the center was calm, quiet and very peaceful. In fact i was able to read my book to my grandma in the lobby without any major interruptions.
