My husband was there from Friday night to Monday morning and had to go back to the hospital. My daughter went after church on Sunday. His thermostat was on 79 and he was covered up with several blankets. He was soaked with sweat through his clothes and the sheet. I got there soon after her and we changed him and put pads under him to keep him dry. He was at risk for aspiration and was on constant feeding. He was almost flat in the bed when my daughter arrived. He was supposed to be no lower than 30 degrees at a minimum. Monday morning they called and said he was unresponsive and going back to the hospital. He had pneumonia due to aspiration.
I gave them a two because the people were very friendly. This might have been a one time mistake but they are responsible for peoples lives and this is not acceptable.

When I visited Pine Knoll for my mother-in-law, it was horrible. The place smelled and it was noisy. I didn't have any contact with the staff because they seemed to be very busy. They really need to get rid of the smell.
