About This Community

Care at Manor Lake BridgeMill is more than just meals and medications. It includes serving the Body, Mind, and Spirit of a senior – because care is physical, emotional, and transcendent.

It begins with an Individualized Care Plan based on need, and continues with a building that’s comfortable and easy for a senior to learn and navigate.

Assisted Living is perfect for seniors who are mostly independent, yet need help managing medications and meals. But there’s much more to Assisted Living than that.

At Manor Lake BridgeMill, housekeeping, laundry, and activities are services seniors love. Hot and delicious meals are served three times a day and snacks are available all day.

Caregivers are on duty 24-hours a day, plus the LPN is full-time. Our primary tasks are to carefully manage medications, provide Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) when needed, and to become trusted friends of your loved one and your family.

Perhaps the hardest reality of aging for some seniors and their families is memory loss. There is no training to prepare you to care for a person with cognitive challenges, and there comes a time when love isn’t enough. Manor Lake BridgeMill is here for you when it’s that time.

Whether brought on by Dementia or Alzheimer’s, these residents require the special care, understanding, and skills of Manor Lake caregivers. They are sensitive to a senior’s moods and know how to interact with and redirect an agitated resident.

Just as in Assisted Living, we provide medication management, housekeeping, laundry, and meals. In addition, there are other measures we take for keeping residents safe and calm. To begin with, access to this area of the community is restricted exclusively to families, visitors, and staff. This prevents disruption and stops residents from wandering out into an unsafe world.

We have a beautiful garden area just for Memory Care residents, so sunshine and fresh air is a few steps away.

Every resident wears a call pendant, so at the push of a button, a familiar face is there to help. A pull chord call system is also in each room.

The staff that I met at Manor Lake BridgeMill was good. I met the head nurse, the directors of the different areas, and the head director of the memory care unit. The common spaces were light, airy, clean, and very nice. The rooms were also very nice, but a little on the small side. I was looking at studios only, so I only looked at one type of room. They have lots of different activities, and bright sunlight and everything was clean and very nice. They have Bible studies, they have games, they do trips, they take people to places, and so forth. The staff was fine, very accommodating and forthcoming, and gave me lots of information. It's an excellent facility.

I toured Manor Lake BridgeMill for my mom. It's one floor, and that's what I was looking for. I also was very particular about floor plans because I don't want my mom in a studio. I want her to have a separate living room. Their floor plans were good. The layout of the facility and the rooms was a little more expensive. When I walked in, there was somebody at the front desk to help me and that meant a lot to me. When I went into three other places, there was nobody there. The first person who helped me was a girl and was very friendly. The second one was a guy. He had some issues and showed up late. Somebody else had to help me before he came in, but they made sure that I was taken care of. They were the only place that didn't give me a goodie bag when I left, which was funny because all the other ones give you this thanks-for-coming-in little treat. It made it very personable for them to be thankful that I was there. Even though I like the layout and the format, they didn't pass over mentally. They were very friendly. What tipped the scale to the other community was that the girl there was very pet friendly, and that made me feel good. If my mom had pets and if I had to go out of town for a couple of days, she had no problem checking in on them. Although they say they're pet friendly. I wasn't expecting that service. There was just more of a warm, friendly community feeling at the other one I've toured.

Manor Lake BridgeMill is a very nice place, but it's not what I want. The staff members accommodated me very well and they did a very good job. It's a fairly new place and it's very nice. They have mostly one big room studios unless you request an apartment or something. The rooms are very nice and well done. They have a lot of things and activities for the residents. I ate lunch there and it was good. They have a library and there's also a snack bar for all the people. It's very well done.

Our father was in a great senior living facility but they were not meeting all of his needs, such as daily monitoring, checking his diabetes blood sugar level, and providing on-site medical assistance. We toured several assisted living facilities and found Manor Lake to be far superior to the others and at a very competitive rate. Moving him to Manor Lake was a breeze. His phone, TV cable, and utilities (all included in the rent) were already set up so we didn’t have to transfer any of his accounts. They make sure that he gets to the dining room (great chef) and takes his medications and exercises…..all monitored and logged in electronically. They even check his blood sugar and manage his prescriptions! The manager, nurses, and cleaning staff are the best and our father absolutely loves living at Manor Lake! It is such a sense of relief to know that he is getting the best care possible. Thank You Manor Lake!
