About This Community

Welcome to assisted living, as it should be. At Magnolia, we have a passion for nurturing the independence and well being of seniors, and it shows. Our passion inspires us to set a new standard of excellence for assisted living homes and senior services in Georgia. Our communities are places where seniors go not to age gracefully, but to live well. Our care is designed to exceed expectations, rather than simply meet a need.

Assisted Living:

At Magnolia Senior Living, we care for our residents as we would our own family. Our goal of overall wellness is incorporated into every aspect of our assisted living with apartment-style suites, individually tailored activities, and purposeful interaction.

Memory Care:

Magnolia Senior Living specializes in managing the highs and lows of individuals living with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other types of cognitive impairments. We understand the effects memory loss can have on the entire family.

Amenities Matter:

  • Dining Matters

Dining is an essential part of life and health providing not only nutritional needs, but also time for social engagement. Three balanced meals crafted by a dietician are served each day and snacks. The dining area is designed to encourage conversation and fellowship with friends. Family is always encouraged to join their loved one for a meal or frequent family events.

We recognize that memory loss is unique to each individual. Magnolia designed The Manor with painstaking attention to detail. Everything a resident touches in the community – and everything and everyone that touches them – is carefully drawn from the latest research available on Alzheimer’s care. Magnolias highly trained team members follow a system of best practices that has made the company a leader among senior care providers.

I had a good feeling about Magnolia Senior Living Sugar Hill when I entered it. The young lady that we met with, Abby, was very welcoming and very accommodating. So was the rest of the staff. We went around and met a lot of them and everyone was friendly. They had a barber/beauty shop, different activities during the month, and a nice cafeteria. I like their courtyard, too. The rooms were very nice-sized. The kitchenette was nice and the bathroom was great. The sink had the right height and it's got a great walk-in shower (that was very important). We're looking forward to being in there.

My mom moved into Magnolia Senior Living Sugar Hill. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The place is beautiful inside and out. The rooms are very spacious, and my mom absolutely loves it there. My mom absolutely loves the food. Because of Covid, they're delivering the food to the rooms. The dining area is beautiful as well. They have daily activity plans, a theater room, a physical therapy room, and a beauty shop. It was so cool, and I was like "I want to move in!" They have a company that they recommend, but they don't offer free transportation. You have to pay for it. It is quiet, relaxing, and serene because they play this really nice music out in one of the main common areas. Everybody is friendly too. When I was there, there were not a lot of activities, and there were a few people that walked around. It is pretty quiet. This is the first one that we saw, and we fell in love with it. We did not look at any other ones. It was the closest to my house, and we are definitely happy we made that decision.

We were very impressed with everything at Magnolia Senior Living Sugar Hill. Rebecca was remarkable, caring, and it showed through our conversation on the phone, and even while we were there during the tour. She sat down, took her time, and went over everything. The facility is newer but the distance played a part for us. We wanted something that was nearer for all the family members and Magnolia Senior Living Sugar Hill was just a little far out. My dad is 97 and has a prosthetic leg. I was concerned about the walking distance from his room to the dining room and the activities, but now I've realized it wouldn't have been a problem because he would need to be in a wheelchair for a while, but the rooms were nice. The only thing I didn't like about the room was the paint color. It was a darker beige, and to me, it's just pretty to look at but it made the room look dark. Also, his room would have been facing the courtyard, but it was covering over a part of the courtyard, so he would not have been receiving daylight. That's important to me. I like natural lighting and so does he, but it's still a beautiful community. They have a library and the staff was informative.

My mother is in Magnolia Senior Living at Sugar Hill. We went in briefly because of COVID. It's very nice, clean, and the room is nice and brand new. Some days the meals she gets are not the greatest, and some days they're very good; it's very inconsistent. They have a lot of amenities, but a lot is shut down. The majority of the staff is very nice, but there are a couple of bad apples, and you just have to stay on top of them, especially when you can't get inside.

We placed a deposit and we're very pleased with Magnolia Senior Living Sugar Hill. It's a very nice place, very happy place, very clean, it's a new facility, and everybody seemed to really care about the residents. They have a memory care unit up on the second floor that's secure, which is probably where we're going to wind up putting mother at this time instead of the actual assisted living before. I did not see anything I did not like. The hallways were wide enough, and the level of the rooms were fine. The staff was great, everybody was very concerned, and very interested in making sure that my mom got taken care of and got settled. When she had her illness they bent over backward to work with me while she was sick. The facility was very open, bright, and cheerful.
