Description

About This Community

A sizeable northeastern suburb of Atlanta, Johns Creek describes itself as the “exception to the everyday,” with plenty of outdoor and indoor attractions and recreation opportunities. Residents spend their days fishing and picnicking along the banks of the Chattahoochee River or exploring around the Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center. A thriving arts community includes the only all-professional symphony orchestra in Georgia beyond Atlanta, as well as the Johns Creek Chorale. A technicolor pedestrian tunnel literally provides some local color. Addington Place of Johns Creek believes that it’s your home and your life, so you should do it your way. Through a personalized care plan, life-enriching activities, outstanding chef-prepared dining options and expert, compassionate caregivers, you’ll enjoy the independence to do more of what you want and less of what you don’t. Our goal is to create a community where you can fully enjoy the life of comfort and convenience that you’ve worked all your life to earn. That’s why we regard Addington Place as not just a place to live, but a place to thrive—and we’re sure that you will, too.

It is good. The staff is excellent. They call me whenever something arises or if my mother has any problems. They're close knit. They also have a memory care facility. It's a nice atmosphere. The residents do a lot of things together. They play games and get them involved. The rooms are adequate. They have shared rooms and single rooms, and they're good size for people in that level. The dining area is good. I've eaten there once and the food is good. They have snacks out for residents to eat throughout the day. They have somebody come in and play the piano. It's all one floor like an apartment building and everybody has their own room. It would be great if they had a workout room.

It was outstanding. Their staff was excellent, and their manager was outstanding. My father had just fallen in a hospital setting, and we wanted to put him there. He had special needs at that time, and they were willing to work with him. They were willing to help me understand the whole process and walked me through it. They said they could make food for my dad because he was very picky. They were willing to accommodate the room for his special needs. I would have put him there in a heartbeat. When they said they would do something, I trusted them that they would do it.
