This place sucks! Does not have enough staff to give the residents the proper care they need. I have been here almost 2 months. I have a list of how many times I have sat in my own poop for over an hour. How many times I didn't get clean sheets when needed. Just cover up. Put a dry sheet or pad on top of the wet one. Nurses are great Food is good Some CNA's are awesome! Some are lazy and don't do their job. Lack of staff daily. PT AND OT are very good and work so hard so help their patients.

My father is at Glenwood Health and Rehabilitation Center. I saw him today because he had a doctors' appointment. He likes it. He's a smoker, and they allow him to smoke, so he likes that aspect of it. He's OK with it, so as long as he is happy. He started out in the rehab part, but now he's in the nursing home part. He likes the food; he said it's good. It would be good if they had phones in the patients' rooms; that would be something helpful. There are four patients per room. Communication is key, especially with your parents in the facility, so I got my dad a cell phone to communicate with us.

My mama's stay was a good one. She was cared for in a respectful way. The staff, nurses, aides, therapists, and other employees, treated my mom and other residents well; I observed. And if I wasn't pleased with something they addressed it. My mama loved the people there and so did I. The aides encouraged her to participate in activities. The facility always had good activities. However, I do think the building needs renovating and new equipment. The closets and furniture need painting. And the rooms need to be painted with a more cheerful color than beige. The laundry needs a label machine 'cause they lost my mama's clothes despite me putting her name on them. Markers colors fade eventually and store bought labels don't last that long either. Also, the medical transportation is handled perfectly.

As a sister you must attend the family meetings to voice your concerns. All the staff leaders are there to understand what you would suggest as a care plan for your love one.Out door activities would be great for those who can go outside not just to smoke. Upgrade bathroom. Paint the rooms. Staff members are Great! Really enjoy church volunteers and other volunteers. Thanks

We were not pleased with Glenwood Health and Rehabilitation Center at all. It's not maintained at all, I would not even consider that location. I looked at the dining hall, it has shabby furniture, stained chairs, the floor needs a lot of work on and needs to be resurfaced. It's not a clean community.

I volunteered a couple of times. From what I seen the facility is nice and kept up. The staff and residents all enjoy activities. The staff is friendly and helpful which made my experience great there.

Glenwood Health and Rehab is clean and my mom is well taken care of there. The staff is friendly, polite, and does their job well. They have activities for the residents, music, and they also take them out on day trips.
