My husband is a resident of Fellowship Home at The Fairway. It's large there, so the people are very nice. The grounds are beautiful that it's on, it's in a golf course area, so it's very pretty there. The facility is good, it's a little older, but they try to keep it very clean. It's like everywhere else, some people you hit it off with, and other people are a little bit different. My husband doesn't like the food, but I think they serve very great food. I think it's very nice, but he thinks it needs improvement. The area is very nice, they have a lot of outdoor seating. They have walkways for people that are in wheelchairs and stuff. I think the physical facilities are very nice. They have quite a bit of stuff. They have exercising, bingo, game night, and trivia; all kinds of stuff. They used to have groups come in and entertain, but because of COVID, they don't have that anymore. But they have stuff every day for people to do. They have church services, it's pretty good. They have a little thrift store there. It's really cute; people can buy stuff for 25 cents, or 50 cents. They have movie nights with popcorn and stuff, they have a lot of little things. It's very good value for the money.

We toured Fellowship Home at the Fairway. They have a better kitchen facility, which would be very important for my brother-in-law. He's ambulatory and self-care, so that was the main thing. They also had a nice screened in porch area where they can sit, and they love to do that. The staff was very informative. She helped to convince. We had a good impression of her, but it was the room itself that will suit my sister and brother-in-law. My sister will need assisted living. She's incontinent and can use a walker, but she is pretty much self-care. They're both going to be in the same unit, so it'll be both assisted assisted living. They have a very nice dining area. It was not real large. There are three buildings, and I'm not quite sure how many residents are in this one. It didn't look overly large. I was thinking this would be a good step. The staff told me where the activity room is where they play bingo and card games. The four of us who toured were very impressed, and we knew this would work for them.

We visited this facility with full intent for my step-dad to move in back in late December 2018. We provided the director with a $1500 deposit and made an appointment to return two days later to sign the contract for moving in on Friday. However, within 1 day of providing the deposit, he fell and subsequently died due to severe head injuries. I contacted the facility within less than 48 hours to let them know to release the room and requested the refund of the $1500 deposit. It has now been 5 months since his death and we have still not received the money back to his estate, despite multiple calls, emails, and letters. I am extremely disappointed with this facility and their lack of concern or empathy to this event. I would not recommend them to anyone.

My Mother moved here last month from a nursing home because she had become "too high functioning". What that means is she got better. Her biggest complaint in the nursing home was the food. This place is much better. I even ate there myself last weekend. My Mother and I are probably best classified as "foodies". I do not care much for American food, its quite bland. The food i was served was very good. salted well. and handled correctly. The staff was a bit confused when I asked for a meatless lunch, but this is a good benchmark of their adaptability. I would like to meet with the chef next time I visit. The care staff was incredibly nice, My Mother is very alert and cognitive, she likes the staff. I think that says a lot. The facility is clean, smells good, They have finches in the lobby. I think they have tried very hard to do their best. I can't think of a place better for the price. I think my only desire would be for the cooking staff to provide more egalitarian and more exciting meal options.

The rooms at Fairway Pines were adequate and good sized. They had transportation that took people to doctors. They played dominos and went to malls and different places. They had a separate assisted living section and a section where they had to give more care. The staff was good, they cared about the residents and they get them ready wherever they needed to go. Their food was good.

My mother lived in Fairway Pines. It was wonderful and really nice, but she got to a point where she would wander. The food was fine and they treat people there like their own family.

Fairway Pines ' staff members are very helpful, very nice, and very accommodating. It is convenient for my aunt as it is near her house, and she has a lot of church friends who come visit her. The food is very good, she enjoys that, and the care is terrific. It is nice, very clean, and well-kept too.

Our first impression of Fairway Pines is very positive. The community is very good. One of things we noticed is that the employees there are long term. They have very little employee turnover. The employees that my dad and I have interacted with are always friendly, polite, and courteous. I also had a chance to eat there, and the meals are excellent. They have a very comfortable dining area. We only have a couple of concerns about the house cleaning. We noticed that there are some things that are not vacuumed properly around the furniture and the chairs. We didn't know whether it was unattended by the operator or the equipment was at fault. We brought it to their attention, and I said: "You need to vacuum a little better around the furniture," and they did that. It is a work in progress, and we are sharing our concerns and expectations with each other. It is not quite homey but it is comfortable. It does have a little bit of an environment that you will find in any hospital. There is always a certain amount of busyness going on than in a homey environment. The attendants are out in the hallways passing water and meds or the housecleaners are in and out. There is always a certain amount of activity in the building but it is not a harsh environment.

A number of folks from the neighborhood where my mother lives already moved at Fairway Pines at Sun'n Lake so that is why I came to know about the place. The facility is pretty well done as far as maintenance is concerned. I think one of the biggest advantages that they have is that it had a balcony with an outside area. The food is okay, just standard cafeteria food. The staff who gave us the tour was very professional and very nice. Everybody seemed to be pretty helpful. Overall, the facility seemed very well run.

When visiting Fairway Pines at Sun n Lake, my immediate reaction was that the facility was very well kept. Both the landscaping on the outside of the building and the common areas inside the lobbies were appeasing. The staff has always been present when I visited, and they are always helping someone. The living quarters vary, those who need more assistance have more of a hospital styled room, while those who are capable of being more independent have more of an apartment style place that can be several rooms big. Overall I am pleased with what I have seen during each of my visits to Fairway Pines at Sun n Lake.

This facility was not the most up to date facility I have ever been in. The care however was extremely well. I was there to see two patients. The family had requested I come and check in on the patients. The staff refilled both of my patients drinks while I was in there rooms, answered the call lights promptly, and seen that the patients had been changed in a timely fashion. One of the patients had soiled themselves while I was there and within three minutes was changed and had fresh bed linens.
