If we could give zero (or better yet, negative) stars, we would. Writing this review while sitting in the ICU, where our family has been for the past week, praying for our loved one. He was sent here after being at the Terrace for two months. While there, he developed a stage 4 pressure wound. He never had this before being admitted to the Terrace. Stage 4 is the worst stage it could possibly be. The wound somehow had been overlooked for so long by the facility staff that it proceeded to get infected, kill the skin on and around it, and created such a deep wound that the infection reached the bone and made its way into his blood. To someone who is poop our family members age and condition, this type of wound can be literally life or death. I would attach pictures of the wound but I’ll spare you the gruesome image. Allowing the wound to reach this stage could only happen with complete neglect and incompetence of the staff at the Terrace. It shows an utter disregard for what one would assume to be the most BASIC of care measures taken at this type of facility. Our family is now anxiously waiting to see what the next couple of days hold for our family member’s health and life and we hold the Terrace firmly responsible for his current debilitated condition. If you truly want your loved ones to recover, be taken care of and be treated with respect do NOT look to the Terrace for this type of care.

My friend is staying in The Terrace Of Kissimmee. It is not all that nice. They lose everything in there. Like I took him some clothes there, and he didn't get them until three days later. I couldn't find some of his stuff either. It's really terrible. Food is not too good. They really do not have much for them to do. They are parked outside in the middle of the building, and they don't do anything with them. They just do therapy and that is it. I think the Medicaid is paying for that, but it is not too good of a place.

I went to the Palm at Park Place after my knee replacement. The staff was wonderful, the physical therapy was exactly what I needed. It was clean, the food was pretty good. Certainly not a diet for a diabetic, but the flavor was good. They responded very quickly when I buzzed them. Only a couple of time was there a problem with getting my meds. I intend to go back here when I do my second knee.

The first nursing home I visited was The Palms in Kissimmee. It's pretty small and they only have 50 beds with small numbers of staff. They don't have that much help and that's what most nursing homes are in lack of, help. They keep the place clean and professional but it's just small. They were kind enough so show me around and they gave me literature but this nursing home is my third choice.
