My friend and her husband were residents of Silver Creek. They were in enhanced assisted living, which I don't find much enhancement because they're not medical. If you fall, they have to call 911. They don't have anybody that can do anything for you there. They just have people that give pills, they don't even stand and watch the patient take the pills or answer questions for the patients. I mean, this was supposed to be enhanced, and they thought they would get more help, but now it's not like that at all. They should not even have this unit, as far as I'm concerned, because it doesn't do anything for them. They have some bingo and a happy hour. Everything's a challenge, getting your laundry back, getting your food done, getting anything, it's because they don't have enough help. The front desk is wonderful, but for the people that are in assisted living, there's not a level of caring or anything. They come and they do their jobs. There are a couple of very good people, but for the rest of them, you have to ask, will you make my bed, will you do this, or will you do that; these should be done automatically. That's what they say they provide, but it doesn't happen. In the main building, everything is immaculate, and that looks like a five. But when you come down here, it's another story for the enhanced assisted care, I'd just give it a three. They make it beautiful, and they sell people on it, but when you get here, what you need is care. I don't care how beautiful the building is, I want the care. I'd rather have less gorgeous things, and have some people paid well enough to take care of family. They say the food in assisted living is the same as the main dining room, but the food over here is a three. They've been through a bunch of activity directors for whatever reason. We had a situation where my friend's husband called me and said something was wrong with his wife. I came over and then I asked for somebody to come to look at her, and they can't do anything. I had to say, "Will you please take her vital signs?" and they did. This was after 5:00 PM on a weekday night, and there was nobody to come look at her and determine whether she needed to go to the hospital or not. The girl from the staff did take her blood pressure, and she said her heart's racing. She told us "Sit in the wheelchair, just stay calm, and just calm down" and they went on their way. My friend's husband is a cardiologist, he listened with the stethoscope and my friend's heart was erratic. So, we called 911, she had A-fib, and we went to the hospital

Silver Creek was a very nice structure. It's very clean. The residents looked happy in comparison to some of the other facilities I've seen. It just seemed like a very caring, nice, spacious, well- thought-out layout and plan for the residents. The room I saw was spacious enough. It is a shared space and shared bathroom, but the layout seems to be adequate to service both individuals. I also saw a studio apartment. They bring their own furniture, but it was very clean and very adequate to accommodate their individual needs. The staff was very professional, very knowledgeable, and willing to be helpful. There wasn't anything that appeared to be broken. Everything was a nice quality upkept area. I saw the dining. They also have a piano area where the residents can listen. They have an entertainment center area. Each wing has its own little kitchenette facility with a common area, so they don't have to join the residential kitchen or dining area if they didn't want to. They have a theater. The setup and the layout are very nicely done to where the residents can feel like they're a part of a community rather than a home. It's more of a community living rather than apartment living. The person that showed me around was excellent, very helpful, very knowledgeable, and very willing. I just got off the phone, and she was following up with my visit yesterday.

Silver Creek was nice and clean. The person who gave the tour was nice and knowledgeable. The room fits the dimensions of the room size they gave, and there were people in a TV room doing exercises. They had a library and a garden outside too.

I went to Silver Creek. It was a luxurious facility. It was very detailed, very, very well appointed, and very high-end finishes throughout. I had a very thorough tour, but I was disappointed in the lack of transparency with the pricing and the rate structure. This facility is considerably more expensive than the others as that I toured. The dining facilities were beautiful; they were excellent. They appeared to have a very comprehensive amenities program, which included a swimming pool. It's very well coordinated and organized in terms of their amenities program.

We did a walkthrough of Silver Creek. It was good. They're very professional and very thorough. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was new and well-kept. The layout was fine. The condition of the facility dictates the care. It starts with maintenance and works its way to the bedside, in my opinion. I haven't had anything, but a good experience. Their physical condition was what impressed me the most. It was new and well kept. The maintenance of it was up-to-date, and that says a lot for me. We saw the three different available rooms. They were very nice, and everything was adequate including space. Everything was new, well-kept, and maintained thoroughly, and that translates going from the gardener to the bedside for my mother's care.

I was very impressed with Silver Creek. I did an in-person tour. I didn't think they would be doing tours right now, but they did and it was marvelous. I enjoyed it very much. The lady that took us around was very personable and told us everything we needed to know. They had a nice lunch for us. We saw a 1-bedroom, then we saw a studio that had one bedroom, but not a living room. What would be best for our friend would be a studio. The larger room was furnished, looked very nice, and nicely done. The other one was not furnished, which was OK because we could see what it was and see what would be available for my friend. The rooms were both very nice. Everything was very clean. We couldn't ask for anything better. The food was wonderful. It was lunch, and we had sandwiches. My husband had some soup as well, and I had some fruits. It was absolutely wonderful. My husband was funny and said, 'I think I want to move in here and just have the food and not have to eat my wife's leftovers.' The staff members were very nice.

Silver Creek is a beautiful property. Everyone was very pleasant and professional, it was a very nice community and it reminded me of being on a cruise ship. The place is beautiful and very well-appointed, they bend over backwards to speak with the people. It was very luxurious. They had a wonderful plan, they had an extended dinner hours that allows you to go at a broader range of time than allowed at smaller communities. The menu looked fabulous, they had a large variety to fit what someone would like. They invited us on a Sunday which was a really good day to check out the buffet. They offered so much to do, they have really good activities going on and a big board with everything that's offered. If you do the physical therapy there, they have a facility onsite or a room you could use with equipment inside. It was really nice. The staff who assisted me during the tour was wonderful, she took care of everything and checked back with me.

We're taking my mother to Silver Creek. Everything is great. The staff is great. I had to stop in yesterday and drop some things off at her room, and everybody said hi on the way in. Her room is large, and they keep the residents very active.

Everybody at Silver Creek was nice. The apartments were very nice. I saw a two-bedroom and a one-bedroom and we liked them. Size wise, they were both adequate. They have daily activities like crafts and bingo and different programs. I've been there twice. The first time, the lady was very nice and very sweet. The second time, the lady was a little bit distant and cold, but the gentleman at the table in the entranceway was nice. I guess she was cold because we didn't have an appointment. The third time, we called and made an appointment, and the lady was very nice.

I couldn't be happier with the care that my mother gets at Silver Creek. I was most impressed with the way they operated during Hurricane Irma. They didn't have to evacuate and things flowed like any other day. I don't think my mom even knew there was a storm. A huge thank you to the staff and Jerryfor going above and beyond.

I am happy with the care my mother receives at Silver Creek. She is happy as well.

I recently moved my father in and i can say that i am very happy we did. He had been living in another facility and we continued to have issues. things would improve for a little while and then things would go back to the way they were. The staff are attentive and excited to see that my father has already begun to make new friends. I almost didn't go ahead with the move because i thought a new move would be too much on him. He seems happier now than he has in a really long time.

I am so impressed with Silver Creek, from the very start till now after my mother in law’s move in date. Denise a sales representative there was so welcoming and patient as we had many questions and concerns. We were moving my mother in law from another assisted living home to Silver Creek and we were a little anxious, but the staff and residents were so welcoming there it made my mother in law feel very comfortable and relaxed. Her studio apt. is bright and cheery she just loves it and calls it her new home.The building itself is so light and spacious, you have to see it in person to see how beautiful it is. To see my mother in law happy here is a testament to how truly how lovely this assisted living community is. I would recommend to anyone for their loved ones.

Silver Creek Assisted Living is a magnificent place to live. I know this because I live here. The staff of Silver Creek are truly the strength of the organization. I have never heard a staff member complain or say something negative to a resident that is not helpful. The staff is like no other I have ever seen. Anyone considering this type of facility should contact Silver Creek and get a tour of the building and meet the staff and residents.

The Beatles , John Lennon once said: Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans. Well it was high time that my parents made some plans for life ! My parents are life long residents of St. Augustine and are in their eighties. I am their son and live out of town. We needed a plan for their care when they can no longer manage for themselves. I had researched care facilities in St. Augustine and was not impressed until I came across Silver Creek. This facility is the "Four Seasons" of assisted living. The fit and finish of this facility and the attention to detail is second to none. Our sales counselor Denise who led the tour gave my mother a comfort level that I was thankful for. The decision of assisted living is such a tough decision and Denise knew all the answers and assured my mother in such a way she felt at home. I am very happy we toured Silver Creek and now my parents have a "Plan B" . If you are a "detail" person like me you will understand why Silver Creek is on the top of my list.I

The people at Silver Creek are friendly and caring. There are lots of activities. It is large and has a lot of community places, so if somebody is in a regular wheelchair, it is not so easy to navigate.

These people saved my fathers life! When we had no where else to go the folks at SC came to the rescue. Their compassion for our family and my Dad has been unmatched. The facility is like a 5dtar hotel...the staff even better. Can't say enough good things! THANK YOU SILVER CREEK!

I attended a wine event at this facility right before Christmas and was blown away! There is not another retirement community in the area that is comparable. The food was amazing and the staff and people that live there were all so happy. I felt like i was visiting a beautiful resort.
