I have called every other week since our dad passed away in November. regarding the sale of his apartment. Javier says I need to talk to sales, the sales department says I need to talk to Javier. I even left a message for Rachel, the executive director, but no return call. This is the worst customer service. Our father contracted Covid while in YOUR HEALTH CARE CENTER. The least you can do is have the courtesy to communicate with us. I think they are selling the new units and leaving the old customers out to dry. BUYER BEWARE!!!

My parents were long time residents since 1993 at Village on the Green. After both had passed over a year and a half ago the apartment they purchased and lived in has not been sold. The proceeds due the family have not been paid. This is not good policy for families of deceased Village on the Green residents. We would caution anyone considering Village on the Green to look elsewhere.

Buyers Beware! I confirm the negative review below. We had similar bad experiences with VOTG. My grandparents were residents since 1993. We had many incidents in that period that question the integrity of VOTG and LifeSpace Communities. For example, In 2017 we requested my grandmother be immediately moved to the Health Center for full time care. Their response was to put her on a “waiting list”. Three months later while still waiting, she had a bad fall, breaking her femur and fracturing two vertebrae in her back. An injury from which she never fully recovered. My grandmother passed over 2 years ago and VOTG or parent company LifeSpace has still not returned ANY equity interest that was purchased in 1993 and is part of their estate. They have repeatedly been unresponsive and unprofessional in their dealings with our trustee and the estate over the past 5 years. They promised in writing in 2018 to give their “best efforts” to remarket the condo/membership, but they appear to promote and prioritize sales without equity first to maximize their profits. They claim non-profit status, but that is not how they behave! If you do choose VOTG, you should make sure you have a good lawyer to fight for you.

Whatever you do DON'T agree to VOG's capital return program. My Father passed in July 2019 and they STILL have NOT returned nearly 200k he left to the estate. Yes, he signed a contract but it included a huge loophole to their advantage. They have no incentive to return his money and apparently no heart when it comes to family members.
BEWARE!

Village on the Green was very good, and on par with the other place I visited. They have full security, and its a gated community. They have lots of activities and lots of people going around doing stuff. The grounds are kept very well, the facility was 30 years old, but they kept it in good shape, and its very good. They have independent living, memory care and end of life, and thats what youre paying for. The rooms were more than adequate, well-appointed, with full-kitchen, and laundry service. You would have to put in roughly $250,000 and that was depleted over five years, at the end of five years, although that money is depleted, it is used for to go forward with the memory care, and so you dont get something for nothing.

Village on the Green is a very nice campus and very spread out with large apartments. They seem to have very caring staff. They described the amenities. The meals were very good. Their wait staff was excellent.

Village on the Green was very fancy and high-end. Out of all the independent living places I saw in Orlando, it was the nicest with regards to accommodations, the core, and size of the rooms. The dining area was nice and currently being remodeled. The place was very clean, well-kept, and manicured. The staff was very nice and helpful, they took us around on a golf cart. Everything was just top-notch.

Village on the Green was top-notch with granite countertops. Everything was perfect, but it was too expensive. You need to have $500,000 to buy in. They have tai-chi, a library, and little trips to the beach and places like that. The dining room looked very nice. They had a buffet that looked very enticing. They were a high-class place.

I would not recommend the Rehab facility. They discharged my relative to another facility who in turn sent her directly to the hospital because she was doing so badly. The hospital found 5 major medical issues that they ignored. Yes, it is "pretty" and the food is suppose to be good, but it really is about the care of your friend or relative. I would give it a 0 if I could.

A friend stayed in their rehab ctr for a few days. In visiting I found we were ignored and not helped to find her. Her room was claustrophobically small so we visited in the foyer altho very noisy. Each time we were there, some piercing alarm went off but no one seemed in a hurry to find the source nor shut it off; we had to hold our hands over our ears. A card I sent to her reached the facility right after she was discharged so they returned it to sender rather than take the time to forward it to her home; I find that extremely uncaring. I wouldn't recommend this place to someone I care about.

I loved Village on the Green. It's very beautiful, gated, and very nicely done. They have everything. It's a life care community, so whatever you need, it's going to be right there.

It's a very exclusive place -- high dollar. They want you to buy a condo for your family to live there plus you pay a monthly charge. They have a security guard when you go in the gate. It's very secure. They only let you in if you're visiting somebody or if you have permission to be there. It's like a country club -- more like a golf community. It's a senior living place, but they do have cottages, houses, and a rehab facility. It's beautiful, and the people rave about it. It's like a five-star facility. The seniors can feel secure there because no one's going to come in that place or drive into that place unless they're allowed. If you've got the money, Village on the Green is the place to go.

I had a tour of Village on the Green, and I went to see a couple apartments. It was a nice community. The sales person was very friendly, and the staff was very professional. They had large apartments, and there were two-bedroom apartments, which we were looking for. They also had activities in the pool.

Village on the green is a beautiful place. We did not have an appointment, but they showed us around, walked us through the cafeteria, showed us the menu, and walked us through the environment. We did see some of the residents, and it looked like an excellent place.

The people are outstanding and helpful at the Village on the Green. The dining room was one of the finest places I have ever eaten in. I had visited this facility three times to try different meals at different times to make sure they did not just fix me something good the first time. We had been invited to a bridge activity, and we played bridge there. We also went there during a special social hour where people just get together. They had recreational facilities and exercise rooms.

I played bridge over at Village on the Green. I would like to live there, but I can't afford it because you have to pay a big payment to get in. They have good food. The rooms are very nice, and everything is great. The staff is all very nice. They have a pool and an exercise class. I know it's a super nice place. I've visited some places where you can smell the food all over the place, and I hate that. These are individual apartments, and no one lives in the building where they serve the food. They have a little cart that they pick you up with if you can't walk.

I had the chance to visit Village on the Green, and it's a nice place, but expensive. The staff were great. They gave me everything I needed to know and they were helpful. They have a pool and workout equipment. They have buses that go out to churches and shopping centers. They will take you everywhere every day. It's really a good place for people who need that.

Village on the Green was very good. We loved it. They had lots of entertainment and wonderful food. Their apartments were really nice. They had about 200 apartments. In fact, they had one that was available that had just been renovated. Food was very good. We have eaten there several times. The dining room was just a really nice dining room. It was a very formal-looking dining room. What we like about it is that we could either have the meals delivered to our apartment or we could go to the dining hall.
