I went to the Holiday Regency Residence. The tour was really good. One thing I liked, was they had a room like if you've just come out of, say, a rehab, a hospital, or something and the doctor wants you to continue, they have a room with rehab-type stuff. That was good. The person who gave the tour was OK, she was like one of the heads of the place, a kind of manager. She was nice and she gave me a booklet, or what I called a brochure. She made sure she gave me the name of a guy who she said could get me in there faster with the VA because they have their own guy, she said. But when I called him, he didn't. He didn't sound like that at all. He talked differently, a different attitude like I couldn't qualify or something. They had a nice one-bedroom, it had a screened lanai, plus I have a cat, and the cat would love it. They've got a beauty parlor. One thing I did not like was finding the office, finding the front door. When I drove in there, I didn't see a sign at all that said office, or anything, but I figured it out. It was the entranceway where you could drive up on a van or a bus or something. And I parked the car near there and I walked in and sure enough, it was the right way. But I was surprised and disappointed that they did not have something to show. If you didn't know, you'd probably end up driving all around the place looking for it.

The staff at Holiday Regency Residence was wonderful. The facility was extremely homely and very comforting, as opposed to others that can be very medical or hotel-like. They have a lot to offer. They go out once a week with the residents to watch a movie. They have a game room with a pool table, a swimming pool, bingo setup, and a place to play cards. The lady that gave the tour was very nice. She was explaining that they play cornhole a lot, and they have a lot of residents that do that. Then she showed me their physical therapy. There was a whole room set up for that. They do aerobics in the pool. It was very clean and well-maintained.

I like how all the apartments at Holiday Regency Residence had a balcony or a patio. There was an opening to the outside from every apartment, and they're much larger than the rest of the places I've toured. I would consider a studio there because the price was reasonable for a 1-bedroom apartment and they give you more square footage. They provide the basic things, so all you have is a stove, a refrigerator, and a microwave.

We will be moving into the Holiday Regency Residence. Everyone was so wonderful, patient, and explained everything. The food was excellent. It was just a nice family feeling there. They have a swimming pool. They have everything you could think of. The staff members were very nice and cooperative.

My mother has lived here for 3 years. It was a great place to live until new management took over. They no longer care about the residence. They keep increasing the rent while taking away most of the activities, they won't take anyone on the bus further than 5 miles, not even to the hospital that is 6 miles, there is no security here and they won't even put a camera at the front door. The staff is not friendly they don't interact with the residence and don't even say hi when you walk in. The old staff was wonderful, friendly, helpful group. I would not recommend this place !

We went to the Holiday Regency Residence. The place was OK. We have a cat, pet fee was reasonable. The move-in was rather high. They had an interesting vacation plan. They had this Holiday program where you could stay in another part of the country, they had one of these Regency residences, for no charge, in an apartment similar to yours. It was not a standout. It wasn't nearly as nice as the others I went to.

I went to look at Regency Residence. I thought the place was fabulous. I looked at the independent living apartment with two bedrooms and two baths. The facility was well organized but so far away from our families. The staff members were better than the other facility. The people serving the food were older, very polite, and knew what they were doing. The building itself was clean. Everybody was nice to us. We had lunch there, and it was good. The nicest part was that after the meal was over, they had a cart that they brought around a selection of desserts. I thought that was a big plus. The dining room has plenty of rooms and had round tables. They had a full-service salon.

Regency Residence was a very nice location and it's very clean. The lady answered all the questions, explained to us all the activities, showed us the apartment, and everything that they have. It was a very helpful tour. It's also pet-friendly. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the elderly, a beauty salon service (for an extra cost), a library, a room where they have activities for the residents like watching movies or other events, another room where they play cards, and a pool outside. It just looks old, but she says that they are remodeling the apartments on the inside. Everything else is great.

I'm currently at the Regency Residence. There's so much turn around in terms of the staff. They change constantly because it's not a good working environment, nor is it a good living environment, but right now I'm kind of stuck. The facility is nice, and I like it. I just don't like all the other things that are part of the program. Their food is horrible. They need more responsive staff. It's very hard to get anything done here because they don't respond to you. They have activities but I just don't do them. The location is fine. It's near shopping centers, grocery stores, and drug stores. So that part was good.

The Regency Residence had the best price for the largest amount of square footage. They also have, which I think is very important for people that are using walkers and that sort of thing, handrails all along, and then little benches every so often. So if a person needs to take a rest and sit down, they can, and the handrails are there. The hallways are not huge and long. It's broken up so that they're shorter hallways so that people don't have huge distances to make it to an elevator. The young lady who took us on the tour was extremely helpful.

We visited Regency Residence in person. We like the apartment style. We like the fact that it had a nice kitchen, and it was laid out well. We like the screened-in porch; that was a good thing. Those were the positive things. The people were really nice, so we liked that too. The only negative that we didn't care for was that it was still a smoking facility meaning you can smoke in there. We smelled smoke in one of the hallways, although they did say they could have an apartment on another wing where somebody didn't smoke. We thought that being that I have respiratory problems that might not be so good, but everything else we like about it. The staff was really wonderful. She was really nice. The apartments were just right. We wanted a two-bedroom, and it was good size. It was well laid out, nice, and the coloring was OK. They're going to change whatever flooring you want. We like the apartment. I wasn't crazy about the dining room being right smack when you walk in the door. It's right there when you walk in the door. We didn't care for that so much, but the food was good.

My cousin will be moving into Regency Residence. We chose it after seeing how the residents in there interacted with the staff and how helpful they were after talking to them. Being that my cousin is blind, a lot of them said there were ambassadors, so they can help him get around and figure everything that he could possibly do there. He's got a one-bedroom apartment with a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. It was quite nice. There's always room for improvement. Right now, the building has been without an elevator because it was struck by lightning. Hopefully, Monday, they'll have their elevator back up. The staff was friendly. The room is refurbished before any resident moves in. They have a gym facility that they can use, they have a swimming pool, and they have life alerts for all residents. If they fall, all they got to do is hit the little button, and they'll have EMTs up there within 5 minutes. I got to speak with the residents. All of the staff was very helpful. A couple of them are waiting for my cousin to come in.

Regency Residence seemed like a great facility. The staff walked us around. We looked at a couple of the rooms and the facilities that they have there. They gave us a nice tour. We're considering it for a while. Some of their decors and the carpets were a little dated, but the place was well kept and clean and it looked like there's a fresh coat of paint. The staff members seemed very nice and love their job.

My experience with Regency Residence during the tour was that they were extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. Maintenance and everything was very, very clean. The grounds were very well kept, the ponds were down because of the rain, but other than that, everything looked very, very nice. Everything inside the building, like the dining room, was very clean. The elevators, the hallways, everything was extremely nice. The food was very surprising. Their chef has been there for 16 years and it shows; the food has a very nice presentation. We had one meal there at noon, there was no special food because we were guests, we were just eating with the rest of the people.

My mother just moved into the Regency Residence. It was my mother's decision, I guided her to several facilities. She liked the reception that she received from the residents. The staff really impressed her as far as their attitudes, and that they're really centered on the residents. The staff has been wonderful, they've been helpful. The food is good, presented very well, and the variety that they have is good. Her room is fine, it wasn't a brand-new facility, there's been some aging like the kitchen and the cabinets, but everything's extremely well maintained, and very, very clean.

I looked at Regency Residence. I visited it virtually and in person. I like what I saw. It was really nice. They were very friendly. They gave me a nice tour. The apartments were like 750-square feet, which was sufficient. Of course I would have to downsize quite a bit because I'm in 1400 square feet right now. However, I'm not ready until the end of next year. They showed me the grounds, the pool and all the facilities. It was a good tour. The staff was great. It was a nice facility.

Rooms are much more spacious than other facilities. You get more for your dollar. I have a two bedroom for what other places charge for one and have a separate computer room which I love. The leadership team led by Dene is fantastic. The residents keep an eye out for each other which is nice. My favorite activity is bean bag baseball which I rarely miss.

COVID has had a great impact on the residents activity. Regency had done a wonderful job keeping residents well. The rooms are beautiful. My mom was very happy there and all of her most treasured items fit easily into the space provided. The staff is always available to chat. They try very hard to provide activities for all age/ability levels.

At Regency Residence, I have a nice-sized one bedroom apartment. Right now they have activities open again that they offer. The food is just so-so, I wouldn't really say it's good, it's just so so. The residents are really nice, they've got a lot of people here. The only problem I have is that I want to move down to the first floor. I signed the rate lock where they keep the rate you're paying for forever but they won't let that happen. That's the only complaint I have. I'm not sure about the activities director, I don't think he has enough activities, the other places I've been to have a lot of activities every day. They have a bus but it doesn't seem to run every day though I have no complaints about that. There's a nice swimming pool but I wish it's covered, it's not covered, and it doesn't have a handicap lift or a handicap chair. I thought they were supposed to have it.

Regency Residence is great. For my purpose, it is going to suit me well right now. That's why we're going there. We sat down and had a couple of meals, which were very good. At first, the portions were small, but then with the age of the people there, you're not going to fill their plate so they overeat. Also it is kind of a dietitian menu.

I really liked Regency Residence. It was very nice. The apartment had a full kitchen, with two-bedrooms, and a living room. They offer three meals a day. They have a pool, a weight room, a library, and a beauty shop. It's very clean and the people were very nice. They were hoping that we would stay there and they seemed very happy. The lady told us that if we travel anywhere, we could stay at one of their facilities. The staff was very nice and the facilities were very good.

The community was very clean, welcoming, and warm. The apartments were beautiful. I didn't try the food, but the dining area was very clean, large, and welcoming, There seemed to be menu variety as well.

Regency Residence was very clean and extremely organized. The apartment that she had available for us was very nice. The staff members were very helpful and very courteous. The grounds were very nice; however, the location leaves a lot to be desired. It was a very beautiful community with very beautiful grounds, but it was in a really rundown part of town.

Regency Residence was good, very clean, and very well-kept. It's old, and it's in an old area, but it's nice. They served all three meals. The only thing I didn't like about it is the area that it's in -- which is a very small campus -- and it's in an older neighbourhood close to a major highway. I didn't like that part.

I have put my mother into a place in Port Richey, the Regency Residence. I love them. My mother is very, very happy there. They are the most friendly and kind people that I’ve met in a long time, and they take really good care of her so far. My mother is ecstatic. She texted me everyday, “I love it here, I’m so glad I did this!” Their apartments are really clean. They are well kept.

Regency Residence’s grounds are very good looking and kind of a country-ish outside, but the inside they were not preparing for anything. When I came, no one greeted me, and I waited about 1 minute or so. A resident came walking in. She asked if i lived there. I said, "No, I am coming to look." She said, "Oh, someone will probably be with you in a little bit." There was no one at the windows or anything. It took about 15 or 20 minutes for someone to greet us. They were very unorganized. They said they were changing some of the employees and all that. We saw very little; we did see a room, but it somebody was in the process of moving out, and it was pretty messed up. They only had a studio, and we didn’t see many residents.

Regency Residence was good. There are older people there. Tom is 73, and he didn't think he fit in yet. We checked the pool area. Residents can have pets. It was very nice. It's close to where we live, so that's a good thing. The room size was large, and there was a large area closet if we needed to store things. I thought there was enough room to live comfortably. The whole area was nicely decorated, and it looked like it was a fun place to be. It had everything we'd need if we were to move over there.

The only one I had visited was Regency, and I really liked that one. I had some friends there, and it was close to everything I know. I had been there for lunch a couple of times. They had a luau, and that was fun. I had a friend who was an entertainer and he was entertaining there every month. I just thought the place was what I would like. The apartment was in a nice size. I just felt comfortable there. All day long you could do something. They had a swimming pool. They played games, and they had entertainment. They had a nice dining room. The food was really good. I was not rushing, but I was hoping at the time that I would want to move, they would have a room for me. I really kind of liked that place. I really kind of liked that place. I visited Regency Residence. It is mostly an independent, but they also do assisted living and a little bit of memory. It is wonderful. It is a very nice place. There were a lot of independent people. I would recommend it. The people were very patient, very loving, very caring. The rooms looked very nice. They were reasonable. They had the one-bedroom. It was nice and small. They had a little kitchen, the bathroom, and a walk-in shower, which I thought was very good. The two-bedroom was about the same. It was the big one, and it was very nice too. The staff was very caring. They really cared about the patients, and they were always explaining to you, and they would come up and talk to you. They made sure that everything was OK. I tried eating there. It was very good food, but they should ask a lot of people like if they had diabetes and make special foods for some of these people who could not eat so much sugar and salt. The food was good. They had decent meals. They had three meals a day. The morning stuff, afternoon, and dinner. I enjoyed the whole place.

We had lunch there, and the food was good. It's a one-bedroom apartment, plenty of room, a walk-in closet, and everything that my mother is going to need. It has a little screened-in lanai, and it would be perfect for her. They had a pool, workout, bingo, cards, etc. The dining area was very nice.

The managers change very often at Regency Residence although they have a wonderful activity’s director. The apartments are not big but they have storage. They food is not as good as it used to be, I think it has gone down a little bit, there’s a lot of pork and chicken. Right now the environment is also changing as they are bringing a lot of people with wheelchairs and walkers in their 80s or 90s. It is becoming an older community.

I like Regency Residence better simply because of how it was laid out, and it had a couple of more amenities. It had a pool -- my grandmother likes to use the pool -- and it had a birds club. The second time I visited the place, I brought a friend, and he noticed that the carpeting was dirty in the hallways. It is an older place, but it is spacious. My parents are both residents. The only complain that we have to date concerns the meals which in our opinion could be improved on two counts: increased quality of the ingredients use and more attention paid to the "taste" in the preparations. This is a "sore point" Most of the residents who do not wish to raise this common complaint. However, this is the consensus of the residents--just ask them (off the record) and conduct a poll. The meals are just not sufficiently appetizing enough to earn any praise whatsoever.

My mom and her husband have friends at Regency; that's why they chose it. It is very nice. They have three meals a day and coffee. They have a swimming pool and workout room. So, for independent that's where they are living. They can go have their meal, and they have a kitchen to cook their own. We have dinner and lunch there. and the food is very good. We talked to the director, and we found out all about the activities. They have activities at the place like bingo and game night. They have bus that will take them shopping and to the mall. They also have activities running weekly at the place. The apartment has a living room, a bedroom, a small kitchen/dining area, a handicap accessible toilet-shower, and the normal things that you will find in an apartment that will be caring for elderly people. They have the push button monitor for emergency. It has a little veranda where you can sit outside.

Regency Residence was my favorite. The experience was great, but it was my husband’s fault; he didn’t get the attention he needed because he was all the way up on the third floor, so he was nervous he wouldn’t get any attention being far away. The room was huge and beautiful, clean, with brand new carpet and brand new paint. He had a family room, bedroom, and a bath; everything was perfect but it was him. The food was very good -- it was probably the best there -- and he really enjoys the food.

My in-laws moved in Regency Residence on August 25th. I'm very pleased with it. They have a really nice apartment, i.e., screened-in porch. It overlooks a courtyard which we're really, really lucky to get. I think people are friendly. They're welcoming. They help the residents get services. Everything takes time; they're not the friendliest people, but I think overall, they're doing very well, and it was the right decision. It was the best place for them. We chose this community because of the cost, and because my mother-in-law wanted a kitchen. Their apartment was small, but she does have an oven so she can bake and cook. Here, the services are independent, and we can pick and choose what's right for them and who comes in to take care of them. Regarding food, they have enjoyed it. We got to eat there for the first month, and every meal was really good. I was really pleased with the food. The activities, they have actually participated in some -- like they have done musical reviews.

Regency Residence is close to my family. I visited and the facilities were clean, the people seemed very nice -- that was my main reason -- and the prices were right. So far, I am pleased. There are some things that I am finding a little more difficult because I am lactose intolerant. It is pretty hard for me even with medication and I am finding that when I was home, I could control my diet a lot better. Like when I am home and I make cream soups, I make it with lactate and I am sure they are not doing that here -- I am experiencing a few more problems than I was having before. I am also a diabetic, but there are plenty of foods for those with diabetes. I am finding there is not enough food for people who are lactose intolerant and if I have to say there were any complaints, that would be it. They take you where you want to go; every day there is a bus that goes north and south to grocery shopping, to church, to doctor and dentist appointments -- any appointment that you need. There are plenty of things to do here. We have bridge as well as all kinds of games and parties; if you are bored it is your own problem. The other big reason why I chose this facility is because it is independent living. If I do have a problem, family members can come over and help me with my care so that I don't actually have to hire somebody. The meals are excellent -- three meals a day. The staff is very caring and the place is neat and spacious enough. I have only been here three weeks, but so far I can say that I am pretty comfortable.

Mom is at Regency Residence. It's an independent living facility, but they have some case managers that are on-calls. They provide three meals a day, and they have a physical therapist there. They have a gym, a pool, and they have lots of activities. The apartments themselves are very nice, and they are very bright. Everyone has a screened patio, so they still enjoy their garden, and they can sit outside and have a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. The housekeeping staff are absolutely friendly, nice, and helpful. The maintenance staff are just awesome. They come as late as 10 at night if you need something, and they are also very personable. The food is delicious. Mom is enjoying the place a lot.

I was able to visit Regency Residence. Everything about the facility is fine, and everybody seemed be happy. I have been invited there for lunch, and the food is very good, and they have things going on there every day for everybody, and that is where I'd like to go. The room that I saw has one bedroom, and all the furniture that I have in my apartment would fit in that bedroom. They have a little kitchen there. They have a screened-in porch and a nice swimming pool. They even have a little dining room off the big one.

They were having fair at the time that I went to Regency Residence. It was very nice. It was bright and cheery. They brought me in, they showed me around, and I had lunch there. I told them upfront I just wanted to find out about them. Then I was on my own to talk to the different residents. They had a band playing. The rooms are beautiful. The dining area was very cheery. Everybody seemed happy. The staff could have been better. They really put themselves out and introduce me to the manager of the place. It was nice. I had a good feeling about it.

We were very impressed with the Regency Residence because it was very clean and very modern. The people all seemed healthy and happy. The girl that took us around was very nice. We had lunch there and the food was good. We saw two-bedroom, two-baths and it was in good size and nice. But you bring your own furniture. They also offered social activities.

I really like Regency Residence. They are owned by Holiday. I like this one and another facility the best. First of all, they said I could bring along my Golden Retriever. It was a nice place. I'm pleased with it. The food was wonderful. They did have a pool, a gym and they even do classes for their residents. However, the place I was looking at, which was on the first floor, had been rented. Also their two-bedroom unit wasn't big enough for me. In terms of what they can improve on, for Regency, I think they need to invest on some reading equipment. There is something for the computer that provides a more visible screen. There is also some software out there that will enlarge a book if you want to read it. That would be my suggestion.

Regency Residence was very nice. The people were very friendly but the residents were older than I am. The food was wonderful. The waiters were very accommodating. The dining room was pleasant. They had a good travel club. They had water aerobics and stuff that I'd be interested in.

Everything about Regency Residence is wonderful. The facility is beautiful. It is a good choice for a family. It's in not a cookie-cutter format and for someone who is still very healthy and doesn't need actual assisted living, it's just a beautiful location. Everything about it is just so nice.

My visit at the Regency Inn was really good and people there were very nice. The building, the apartments, and everything looked good and well-maintained. They have one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. The staff was very polite and courteous. They showed us around and they even served lunch. They have a lot of activities, a lot of stuff to do like trips, and all kinds of games like Bingo; they have a good calendar.

The facility was clean, and the staff was friendly. Each patient got their own room and personal care from the staff on a regular basis. My only complaint is that, considering what is provided, the facility seems rather over-priced. It is a couple of thousand dollars per month to stay there. But, considering the full-time staff (including registered nurses), it doesn't seem that unreasonable to know for sure that my grandfather is both well taken care of, and safer than he would be at home with us. He had seriously low blood pressure that made him dizzy all the time, but the staff were really good about giving him his medicines, and his small apartment was even equipped with metal bars for him to stabilize himself with. Also, concerning the cuisine, there was quite a degree of variety that was also conscious of the senior's dietary needs. He never complained about the kinds of food/amount of food he received, and made quite a few friends in the dining hall. Overall a high-quality facility, but very much on the upper end of expense.
