Working together to bring the highest quality care home

At BAYADA, we believe our clients and their families deserve home health care provided with the highest professional, ethical, and safety standards. This belief guides how we hire, support, and develop our health care professionals - and it is demonstrated in the expert, compassionate care they provide.

Rigorous hiring standards

BAYADA verifies work history, credentials, and references and performs thorough background checks. Our professionals also undergo in-depth interviews, written testing, and hands-on skills assessments before they are hired - and all are fully insured before they visit their first client.

Ongoing supervision and evaluation

All BAYADA health care professionals are supervised by a registered nurse (RN) clinical manager. The clinical manager or the BAYADA primary clinician makes regular home visits to ensure clients are receiving the highest quality care. Additionally, we reassess each care team member's skills on a regular basis.

24-hour clinical support

No matter what time of day or night, clients and their care team have access to a 24-hour clinical support team member from their local office should any questions or concerns arise. Each BAYADA caregiver also has a clinical manager who provides ongoing mentoring and support.

A client and family-centered team approach

Our professionals partner with clients and their families in providing care. We communicate regularly with clients, family caregivers, physicians, and the entire care team.

Unmatched education and training

BAYADA is unmatched in our commitment to providing education and training to our home health care professionals. Through preceptor education programs, mentoring, hands-on lab work, in-service programs, and scholarships for professional development, our caregivers continue to expand and improve the clinical skills they bring to their clients.

Accreditation

BAYADA is accredited by Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP), the leading accrediting organization for the home health industry, for voluntarily meeting the industry's highest nationally recognized standards of care. The rigorous accreditation process involves a thorough examination of the business and service aspects of the entire BAYADA Home Health Care organization - including office and client visits - in order to evaluate service quality, structural strength, organizational effectiveness, and human and financial resources.

Commitment to our core values

At BAYADA, we all share a commitment to providing care with compassion, excellence, and reliability - the core values of our philosophy, The BAYADA Way.

We hired BAYADA. They have been awesome. We have 24/7 care for my mother. Obviously, they are watching her for falls. They also do some light housekeeping, they also do some cooking for her, and they're re-orienting her because her memories are going now. I called around and they actually seemed more personable than the other ones. They're less like a business and more like somebody that would care about my mother. They also said that they would try to get a team together for her so that she would get to know the aides and not have so many coming through the house. She has multiple caregivers, but we have a few that are like part of the core team that come frequently, and really have gotten to know her, so much so that they're comfortable contacting me and telling me things that are out of the scope, which has been really helpful. They also provide transportation for Mom to get to the doctors' appointments and things, so that's been helpful. The billing has been fine. They've never been without scheduling. They might have to emergency switch somebody out, but somebody has always been there. Even through the storms that came through there last week, they were able to arrange to make sure that somebody was going to be there, so that was helpful, because I was a little bit worried about that. I think they've been great.

My mom needed help after hospital stay. Hired Bayada. Mornings 3 hours, Evenings 3 hours (3 hrs is their min) We asked for a non smoker and were assured this was not a problem. First day..smoker shows up. Problems continued, constantly late showing up, care giver actually said “I don’t put anyone ahead of myself, it was raining so I drive slow” Is that what a client wants to hear? How safe do I feel leaving you with my mom now? Next day, Office called said no one was coming as it was a holiday. Yet at intake they knew dates that were required and agreed. If you want excuses, apologies and little to no care, Bayada is the place for you. If you want someone to partner with you in the care of someone you love, HIRE SOMEONE ELSE! Scroll on past Bayada.
