Both parents stayed here, unfortunately.The food was terrible and of the poorest quality. The place ,in general, was filthy. and infested with mice and roaches. This condition was also present in my parents' room. My mother even had to purchase her own rat traps and bait. We were paying for extra care and my mother was left unattended for over 5 hours. after falling and breaking her hip. Of course, she never recovered from the surgery following and she died shortly after. This is the WORST place anyone could go. I do not understand how this man stays in business.

Had to do a Site Evaluation for insurance purposes. Could not complete the evaluation because the place is a dump and was failing on the evaluation not even half way through the report. Could not tell who was staff and who was a patient as they all look half dead and miserable. If this is a Retirement Community, I would go rob a bank and be sentenced to a Federal Prison first.

AVOID AVOID AVOID RUDE ADMINISTRATOR AND PLACE SMELLS OF DEATH. Went to move a friend in and the room he was being placed in was dirty! I asked for it to be cleaned and Admin told us to get off his property!

The front desk staff was nice but the Administrator was very rude & sarcastic during the entire interview process. He would definitely not be the type of person I would want to work for and I surely wouldn't want him over the care of my loved one. The facility and it's grounds were dated and not kept up & the residents did NOT appear happy. The grass was growing up the side of the buildings and the his attitude was completely unacceptable. I DO NOT recommend this place to ANYONE whether you are seeking employment or a place for your loved one.

I am looking for a facility for my husband's grandmother. I have NOT visited this place, I am only reviewing the attitude of the person who answered the phone call. He was rude and turned me off from this facility based upon his nasty tone and responses to general questions. Now that I am reading the reviews, I know my instinct was correct.

I DO NOT recommend this facility at all!!! It is unkempt , it has foul odor, and unorganized . I do not see how they are still open!!!

My sister has only been at Northpointe for about a week now and the facility seemed to be okay. Personally, I think they could have a little more staff, but most of them are helpful. The rooms are really nice and they keep it clean. I was able to eat there and I think their food could be a little bit better.

I do not recommend this facility. My mother lived in this facility for 9 months until her death. She fell and the staff did not notify the family, she knocked out her front tooth, had bruises on her cheekbone, ankle and a cut on her shoulder which developed into a staph infection. I cannot recommend this facility, I regret that we chose to put our mother in Northpointe Retirement Community.
