Orlando Lutheran Towers were very welcoming and has all the different levels that we've been looking for. It would be wonderful to be able to be there. They're very friendly and the place was very, very lovely and very nice. We loved the location. It's downtown Orlando, but it's on a very quiet street. There are several interesting shops around, so you could walk to a supermarket nearby or to a library. The location for us was one of the advantages.
They gave us a calendar of their activities for June, and they have exercise classes, a person who is trained for the exercises if someone were to have Parkinson's disease, arts, group meetings, concerts, and many different things that you would expect. They also have a book club, religious services of different types, and transportation to things out in the community. So, that's good, and they have an undercover parking garage available and a wonderful security.
The staff we met were very friendly, very knowledgeable about what was available there, and very concerned. They had a wide variety of different people with different interests and I think they were very helpful and communicated very well what it had to offer.
