Bayview Center was fine. They had a floor for dementia and Alzheimer's care and another floor for patients who weren't so acute. They remodeled the place to be very colorful, very clean, open, and friendly. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the dining area was pleasant and airy.

My father was moved from assisted living to a nursing home because he had an open sore and rash. It's pretty good, and the food was fine. They communicate with me, and they seem to care.

The nursing home started out great. Everyone was enthusiastic about a new comer. They did everything in their power to please us. However, after approx. 6 months as my husband got sicker, they began to ignore his light, they neglected to call me when he asked, they did not give him his medications as they where suppose to. it was horrible at the end, he had sores and never did they bath him anymore. I took care of him at the end.

My husband was placed in Bayview Nursing Home in January 2011. It has been one year since his placement and he is still being taken very good care of. My husband has had 18 strokes and cannot do much for himself anymore and the staff at Bayview really do a great job. The weekend staff is not the greatest, matter of fact they are quiet lazy! However, the care he receives during the week usually makes up for it. I must say though, Director of Nursing has not much to do with the patients family, she just passes it to someone else and hopefully it works it's way out. Other than that I would say it is one of the best I have ever been to. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone I know even my family members.
