We got my dad moved into Superior Residences of Niceville. We had a chance to visit with Lisa, who gave us the tour. She helped us with all the paperwork and everything. It was just a very pleasant experience. They are very down to earth and honest people.
It felt like a good fit for my dad, and we're praying that it works. He has dementia, so that is tough. They have more staff than where he was before, so I think that will help.
They have a movie night, and they have church service every Sunday. They have things I think he would enjoy doing very much and things that would be beneficial to help him with his day-to-day life. I feel good about their services.
When you walk in, it's bright, cheerful, and very welcoming. When we got there with my dad, they had a red carpet laid out with a little sign saying, 'Welcome.' When you go into either side of assisted living or the memory care, there are wide open places to walk that are bright and cheerful, too.
