My parents will be moving into Holiday Sterling Court. The tour itself was great. The facility was clean and well-kept. The community residents were extremely friendly and seemed to be happy. The staff there was professional and followed up well. Overall, from setting to cleanliness to the size of the rooms and the price, those were the reasons why we ended up selecting that one. There's a one-bedroom apartment, but there are different options. They just had the meal today and said it was fantastic.

We toured Holiday Sterling Court. It was like walking through a cruise ship. The cottages were nice. In order to get supper though, you had to leave your house and go to the dining area to eat. We sat down with a girl, and we went over all the costs, the requirements, and what was available for us. They were very nice and friendly people. They had exercise rooms and activities available.

Needs a lot of revamping. No activity director. Rude staff. Poor outside maintenance. It could be a nice place

We toured Holiday Sterling Court. They said it was 13 years old; however, I thought it looked older than that. We did not care for the apartments in there, but we liked one of the villas. It looked spacious. It had what we want: two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The outside looked a little rundown. The residents there seemed older than what I expected. The dining room was very nice. We had lunch there, and it was a wonderful meal. The food was good and plentiful.
They had a lot of activities, so I like that about it. The outside maintenance looked pretty good. The unit we looked at had a front porch and a very small garden. It was maybe 6 feet by 3 feet. It was like a little flowerbed at the front porch, and it was terrible. It was all dirt and an overgrown bush on one end. It wasn't good at all. If we were to take that unit, then we would have them clean that up.
They had a lot of game type things, such as trivia games and some card games. They occasionally have people or lecturers who would come in and talk about things. The staff who gave us the tour was unbelievably good. She was very nice. She was terrific.

Holiday Sterling Court has a second floor where the rooms are. But I noticed their balcony and thought that you could just tumble over, and that struck me there. It appears very safe and everything like that. but I'm not a person who likes to go up high. There was a gentleman there that started the tour, and a lady came in and she took us on the tour. And they were both very helpful and forthcoming with their answers and everything. That would probably be my second choice but I'd want a room on the first floor. It appeared that everything was very clean and neat. I looked at the menus and they're pretty much almost the same as all of the places here in terms of what meals they offer. They have a lovely pool, they took us out there, it's fenced, and they have lovely grounds to walk in.

Sterling Court was beautiful. It was almost like a resort. The apartments were adequate. I looked at the one-bedroom. It was adequate, it had everything I would need, and it looked comfortable. The person who assisted me was very kind. I didn't eat there, but the dining room is set up very nice like a nice restaurant. They had a TV room like movie theaters, they had a game where people could play cards, they could do pool, and they had tables where people could build puzzles. The upkeep was very nice.

The food is horrible, and the staff turn over is very high. Had bug problems in some of the rooms. Don't live here!

Very well-kept facility with gracious staff. The rooms look large and comfortable. Staff are there to provide assistance to members with all aspects of life and take care of medicine timing throughout the day.

We will be moving into Sterling Court. They're absolutely wonderful people. We're not physically moved in, but we're slowly getting things done. It's a wonderful community. If you need to put in reference for people who want to move down here, please add them.
We were there yesterday and picked up the keys. I liked everything about it. First and foremost, I liked the customer service. The people were very personable. Everybody seemed to just be concerned and enjoy one another.
The amenities they have are pretty much your choice, depending on the kind of activities you want to be involved in. They will keep you involved. My husband and I are very outgoing. They have different kind of table games. We know we're going to be happy with it already. They have a huge library. They have everything, plus it's in a community. It's not far from different popular places and shopping. So far, so good. I haven't been in there yet to live; but from what I can see, it's going to be a wonderful arrangement. I think it's gonna be real nice. Our unit was just moved out of, and they're working on it.

Sterling Court was a marvelous facility. We were looking for something with a pool because my husband needs to do water exercise and they had the pool, and they allow pets. We're interested in getting him a little bit more socialization because we live in a campground and he can't get around very well. They have the meeting places and everything.
The meals being provided were a little bit more than what we thought we needed but it's all-inclusive in their fee, so that works out fine. They had a lot of inclusive things, so that helps us plan our budget. The staff was awesome. We got there early and the staff accommodated us. We had been there about three years ago and now that the need is getting a little more imminent, we wanted to revisit to see what the change is and the cost and everything. She was above and beyond anything. She had all the questions answered.
We were very pleased with it. It's a very friendly, very warm and inviting place. There would be no problem of feeling alienated like a new person when you came in. When we visited several years ago, we were given lunch there and it was marvelous. We looked at their menu and it's very appealing, but we didn't eat this time. Everything was conveniently located. The halls were a little longer though and my husband can't walk very far. They had chairs along the way which facilitate it, but we are looking into getting him a little motorized cart to make it easier for him to walk the distance, but everything else was just perfect.
They had just a refrigerator and a microwave because the meals are included. They just allow for snacks and whatever. I liked the fact that they're walk-in showers. You don't have a tub thing to step over or have to deal with a tub and that's marvelous. They give you the emergency call pendant so no matter where you are if you fall or have an issue, you have access or if you left your phone in the bedroom and you fell in the living room and you can't get to the phone, so that's a good feature also. However, their wi-fi was not adequate in the rooms and you had to go to the computer center. That would probably be the only slightly negative. You can get it to your room, but you'd have to pay separately for it.

Sterling Court was a very nice place and very clean, but unfortunately I couldn't afford it. There's a lot of room for improvement. The maintenance of the community was very good. Everything was organized in layout, they answered all my questions, and were extremely knowledgeable. I was taken to a room and they had a computer room. I was very impressed.

I visited Sterling Court. It was a beautiful place, and very nicely organized. You're talking about the Ritz, you know. It was beautiful and it's fairly new. All the rooms were gorgeous. They had doctors there, they had physical therapy. The dining room was beautiful. My mother had gone to the dining room with her other sister to see the place at one time. They accommodated visitors with a lunch, and she said it was great.
It was quite expensive, very expensive. It's very organized, they meet you, you make an appointment, and they take you around, show you the best rooms that they have, the best little apartments. It's very nice and clean, very well done. But for the price that it has, I would expect it for it to be very nice.
When you say amenities: electric, cable is included, and water. They have the hair salon. They have the swimming pool, outside activities, and it looks like a resort.

I visited Sterling Court in Deltona. It was okay. There was nothing special about it. When we looked at the facility, it was clean. The issue was the room seemed to be a little tight, and I think it lacked some of the amenities such as an in-room washer and dryer. It had a kitchenette; it was a little longer on the smaller side. The staff was wonderful, and she was very knowledgeable about her facility. They had a few floors plans to show and did a good job of the tour itself. They had swimming, exercising, bingo, and activity night. They had knitting and sewing classes.

I am writing to complain about the meals you serve. The meals USED to be very good. This has gone down hill in the past 1 to 11/2 years. There is not one time I get a call from my Mom that she does not complain about the crap meals these people are getting served. I honestly do not understand why Holiday cannot hire a good and great someone to make better, higher standard meals like they used to serve. The price these people pay for the food they are served is an abomination. The other thing I am going to complain about is the roaches and bed bugs that are an ongoing issue at Sterling Court. It has been an issue for several years. These two issues that I complain about on behalf of my Mother are valid concerns. With the pandemic going on, the residents have nothing to look forward to but a good, hot fresh meal, like you used to serve! Get it together Hoiiday!!

We're in Sterling Court. We have been here for a while. We were going to go and we were looking at other places, but the cost was kinda high at some places. We don't have assisted living, but neither one of us really needs assisted living, so we're capable of doing our own daily living like cleaning up and dressing ourselves. They provide three meals a day. They also come in and clean the apartment; it's part of the rent. All the utilities are part of the rent. Well, we figured we're better off just staying where we're at.
Some of the meals aren't the best, and so we were considering leaving. The biggest problem we have is because of the virus right now, but basically it's OK. They try to keep the activities moving, but of course you have to wear a mask in the hallways and everything. They ask that you don't fraternize too much in other people's apartments. If you leave the building, when you come back, they take your temperature and ask you where you've been. The bus services are down to the minimum now because you can only use it for doctors' appointments. At one time we can go shopping and everything, but they would prefer that if you're going to shop, shop by computer and have your stuff brought to the building. It works out; that's not bad. After we weighed all the cost we just figured we were better off staying here.
The staff members are pretty good. The services are great. The housekeepers are great and friendly. Like any place, everybody would say the management is to blame. They just got rid of the manager here and they put in a new one. She has only been here a month and she seems to be quite good. A couple of the people under her, a couple of them are nice and a couple of them are crappy. Some people shouldn't be dealing with elderly people.
I can't understand why they hire a chef. Everything is covered with these fancy sauces. Most of the people are just average cook-at-home people and when they got old they couldn't cook anymore. They just want a good meal. Now we live on pork and chicken; these are the biggies here. However, we have some Jewish people in our community that can't eat pork. At one time, when they served a meal, if you didn't care what was on the menu, you could get a hotdog, a hamburger, or grilled cheese. Now with the virus it's added work for the chef and they don't do that anymore. We have been through three chefs now in the last nine months. Some meals are really great, but not many.
Basically, they take care of the place. There are some things that need to be fixed here and there, and sometimes it takes a little while to get it down. We only have one handyman in the place and there's 100 and some people living in this building. Sometimes it gets a little slow to get things done, but they eventually get them done.

Sterling Court was awesome, and they were very, very helpful. The apartment was nice, clean, and pretty nice sized. I like that there are lots of people for my mom to interact with and lots of things to do. They have a Bridge club, crochet club, book club, arts and crafts, bingo, and things like that. It's very clean, nicely decorated, and the staff that we met was nice. They toured us in the dining room and told us about it, but they didn't offer a meal, and it also wasn't mealtime.

I moved into Sterling court, but I've been quarantined since I got here. I'm not wild about having meals prepared for me all the time, but they don't have a kitchen in which to prepare them. The place is nice, clean, and my apartment is fine. The staff is very nice, and very pleasant. They've got lots of parking. Most of the food I've had has been very good, but I've missed a few meals.

Sterling Court is nice, very clean, and well maintained. My aunt's room is very small. The people are very nice. Everybody works hard, and they work together really well. They only have independent living. They have a gym, Zumba, entertainment, and they just opened a physical therapy facility. The dining area is lovely and big, and the food is great. It's expensive considering the space of her room and how far away it is from the elevator.

High turnover of meal servers/cleaning staff. General manager will only take responsibility for good things and verbally blame staff or corporate for any problems. Take a close look at the building, there’s lots of deferred maintenance, side doors don’t close tightly space for bugs to enter, filthy door frames, laundry sink is filthy, heating/air condition units are loud will wake you through out the night. Staff is constantly changing due to bad treatment from the manger. The food is not good more often than it is good. Most of us have to order in, go out or make improvised meals in our apartment without a kitchen.
There are many people living here that are not independent and several falls occur, so many motor scooters that it is difficult to move around in some spaces. There is one elevator and some scooters are so big and elevator so small that only one or two people can ride together.
Pest control is scary, the manager “never know when the exterminator will be here” but if you need exterminator you must wait until he’s here.

I went to Sterling Court but they didn't accept me because we weren't paying in cash. I needed them to take insurance and they don't take insurance. The community was a very nice and wonderful place. I liked their studio apartment for myself and I also liked that it's a place you can call home. They take you back and forth to the stores, if you need to go they have transportation for you, and that's what I really wanted. The staff is very helpful and caring, and they offer three meals a day.

We loved everything about Sterling Court, and we didn't look elsewhere. The place was really great, nice, and clean, and everyone was really sweet. We were even able to look at apartments there that people were living in. It was pretty awesome. I would say that they are kind and helpful. The pool was immaculate, and the landscaping was beautiful. They seemed very caring.

Sterling Court is lovely. It's very nice and very pleasant. I chose this place because of the location. It is closer to some of the things I want to go to, as well as nearby neighborhoods. There are a number of activities to do too. They have bingo, movies, beanbag toss, they go on excursions, do jigsaw puzzles, and play card games. They also have a library and a pool. The staff members are all topnotch. The food is very delicious. They're served so well, courteously, and promptly.

This place ROCKS!! They were so welcoming to my mother, she felt right at home immediately The residents are retired...NOT needing to be in an ALF. They go on 3 outings a week to various restaurants and shopping. The activities director keeps everyone involved. They have many options to get involved. Mom made many friends during her stay.

I would like to acknowledge Sterling Court Deltona for their professionalism, teamwork, and care of their residents during Hurricane Irma. The way that the Staff and Residents came together gave the feel of peace and comfort that anyone would want for their family, especially during a time like this. I wanted to be sure to write My review because it is well deserved. Thank You Management, Staff, and Residents for this experience, I will always remember.

Sterling Court was totally out of the picture, and it's not for us at all. The woman who met us didn't know what was going on, and when were sitting at lunch, the regional director came, and she was much more informative. We didn't see much of the activities, but the place looked sort of like an old folks' home. They have an outside pool, but the atmosphere wasn't great.

Sterling Court was wonderful. The 2-bedroom/2-bath was very nice. But I thought it was a little bit expensive. The rooms were very nice and very well setup. The dining was nice. They have a clubhouse, they provide 3 meals a day, and they have activities, a shuttle service, a workout room, and a library. The meals are very tasty, too. It was a little bit out of my price range.

My mother is extremely pleased with Sterling Court. They are responsive to little needs in terms of maintenance requests. The place is immaculately maintained. She likes the meal plans, she likes the food, and she likes the lady that takes care of the housekeeping. She's pleased with the quality of attention she's getting.

My sister-in-law is in Sterling Court. I like everything about it. It is very convenient, very friendly, clean, very up-to-date, and very nice looking. The apartments are very roomy and comfortable. They have bingo four times a week, bocce ball, crafts, and puzzles all around the hallway. They have bus service to wherever they want to go. They have a beautiful heated pool, beautiful grounds for walking, exercise programs, in-house doctors and nursing care, and a lovely dining room with an executive chef for all three meals. Everything is very good, and I will highly recommend it. They also have complete housekeeping once a week with laundry services. The staff is very good, very friendly, and very helpful. If you go in, look around, and do not see any staff, the residents will come over to you and ask if they can help you. It is a pretty tight-knit community.

Sterling Court was nice and had a lot of activities. There seemed to be a lot of things going on but did not have anything available when we needed it. It was average-looking, but the residents were very active. Everybody was out and about talking and interacting. It looked like they were having a good time. The person that gave us the tour was fine and friendly.

Sterling Court was just a pleasant surprise; it seemed more like a hotel than a hospital, and it was semi-affordable. It was workable with my mother's income, and we could handle it. It was close to where she already lives, and it was available very quickly, so it was a quick decision, and we just went with it. My mother has only been there a little over a month. There are activities every day, and they have a monthly chart they send to the residents to let them know what's scheduled. Everyone is friendly, and we're happy and grateful that my mother was able to get in there.

The couple who lives in and are in charge of things at Sterling Court are the people to see if you have any problems. They were very nice, and the food was delicious. They had little cottages at the back of the big building, and they were beautiful, almost new -- about 3 or 4 years old -- and they were just charming with garages and everything. It had everything. It's beautiful, and it's a new place and had younger people there. Everybody was very pleasant and friendly, and we enjoyed our visit a lot.

We visited Sterling Court and we liked it pretty well. It was clean. They had excellent facilities for dining and they had a lot of nice programs. The food was good. The staff was all polite and showed us around. The one lady we met was 92 and she was real feisty and very social. The rooms were very nice, and most of them were fairly new. A new drugstore and grocery was right beside them, so that was handy. They could go and get their medications or anything they need and groceries too. They had a hair salon right there. They had other facilities inside the building. If you needed special help with something, they had people to help you, i.e., exercises, medical things, and different services for the residents there.

We took my friend at Sterling Court the day after Thanksgiving. It was a very nice place. It was excellent. The person who showed us around was great. The dining area was clean. The food was good too. What we like about Sterling Court was the location because my friend can get out and go to places like drug stores and shop places. Her room was nice and clean too.

Sterling Court is very good. My parents actually moved in there last weekend. It is newer, and it is closer to me. Overall, my parents like this place better than the other facility. So far, my mom has played bingo, and they have concerts. They do an exercise program during the week, too.

Sterling Court is not far that me and some of the others can come and check on Rafael every once in a while. They are great. They have everything that a person needs. They have activities, a knowledgeable staff, and they supply everything that he needs. They have three meals a day with 9 or 10 items. He does not eat chicken so he has 9 choices for him to have something else.

Sterling Court is a beautiful, nice place. I do not see any need for improvements. There is plenty of stuff for people to do, and the food is fabulous. They offer transportation. They have a nurse practitioner and physical and occupational therapy. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are beautiful. We loved it so much. We have appointments with others, but that one is beautiful.

Sterling Court is a fine community. Overall, it was fine. The place was very nice. The people were very nice. It seemed like a nice community; it just didn't work out. They have certain clubs for certain things. They would take you shopping to the mall, and they would take you to the doctor's appointments if you have to go and things like that. The facility itself was fine, but it was a little bit outdated. They need a little paint job, but other than that, it was fine.

Actually my sister just signed the lease today, and she is moving next month. Sterling Court is a retirement community; they don’t allow people who need a lot of assistance. It is modern and clean, and all the residents seemed happy. The staff were all great; they really were. We did go for lunch, and it was good. The apartment that she will be living in is fine. It is small, but it is all she can afford.

Sterling Court was very nice and extremely clean. The gentleman that showed us around was very helpful, and we got to meet some of the people.
We also had lunch, and the food was very good, and you had a choice. They have a daily special, or you can order from the menu. My husband had some of the daily special which was some kind of a chicken, I had a hamburger, and both were very good. The rooms were a little different than I expected but very nice, they had a bed and a sitting area. The problem we had was that there isn’t really any kind of kitchen. You have a refrigerator and a sink -- not even a microwave. We are not quite ready yet to be regimented.

Sterling Court was really nice. The administrator had more of a feel of a salesman. The place was nicer looking on the inside. The apartments and the dining room were nicer, and it was newer than the other place I visited. They had an executive chef there, and the food looked really nice. Socialization was good. The residents that we met looked happier there. What impressed me most was the overall feel of the place. It had more of a condo feel to it. It was decorated nicer. It had much more eye appeal, and it just had a happier atmosphere. But if somebody needed assisted living, they were going to kick them out of there. They had to go somewhere else, and that wasn't good.

Sterling Court was the one I visited, and it was very nice. We toured the rooms. We looked at a studio, a one-bedroom, and a two-bedroom, and they seemed to be clean. Sterling Court was very good. It’s close to where my son lives, and that was an advantage. It was more reasonable in price. I saw the studio rooms, and they are superior. They have a lot of activities, and they have a chapel, which a lot of facilities don’t have, bible studies, a gym room, and a library. They have emergency things that you can call at anytime.

Sterling Court is a nice community, very clean with a lot of activities. It has a very close knit family type atmosphere. They had a few different floor plans to choose from, so there was flexibility. There were nice-sized apartments. The staff was very helpful.

I am residing in Sterling Court for a month now. I choose it because they are all over the United States. My only son lives in California and they have a facility in San Diego where I can go there for a week or two and not to worry about paying for room and food. It also have a cheaper price. They have small efficiency rooms to three bedroom units with a full kitchen and bath. Everybody have a porch and air-conditioning. All the utilities are paid for. We have our own doctor's office upstairs for people who need medical services. It is a dog friendly too. So, we have several residents who have animals. The staff is very accommodating. They really go beyond. The maintenance, the kitchen and the managers are all great. If family wants to stay here, for $70 they can stay overnight, which includes the food. The food is not the best, but its okay.

Sterling Court has little cottages where it’s like a house. She has her own driveway to be able to drive right up to her house. She doesn’t need to climb a whole bunch of stairs and doesn’t have to walk very far. They actually will bring her meals to her room. She has a full kitchen almost everything right inside the house. They have a full schedule of activities every day.

Sterling Court was very nice. The staff was very accommodating. The chair was most appreciative. She did everything to make me feel at home. I would have liked to go there but my son said no, he wanted me nearer him.

I think Sterling Court was very good and very active community. The people who just moved in there told us how happy they were.

This assisted living facility impressed me quite a bit. The staff seemed extremely friendly, and not in a fake way, they actually seemed to care for the people here. I was also very impressed with the activities and programs they provided such as sing along's and crafts. They even offer a travel program. We were able to experience the food while we were there also, which was excellent. Sterling Court also offers Live-In Managers, there were several other facilities that we visited that did not offer this. In finding the best place for my grandmother, this was something that was very important for us. Overall we were very impressed by Sterling Court.
