My father moved into Emory L Bennett Memorial Veterans Nursing Home two weeks ago. They help him with bathing, dressing, walking, eating, and medications. So far, the staff seems caring and concerned. They have been wonderful. The facility is clean, but it's a little small and congested. They have lots of amenities. They have stores inside, and they have lots of activities as well. I've seen what they do, and the residents seem to be very interested and very engaged. They have movie nights, woodshop, gardening, bingo, and dancing. The food is pretty good, too.

Emory L Bennett Memorial Veterans Nursing Home is a very, very nice place. My husband is adjusting very well there. It's updated. The lighting is perfect and they have a lot of activities for the veterans. On Valentine's Day, they had some guitarists in there singing the Army song, the Navy song, and all the Marine songs. My husband was in the Navy and that meant a lot to him to hear these songs that he hadn't heard in years. They cater to them, the veterans. They also have a little store where the veterans can go in and get what they need or what they would like. You don't have to pay. It's all donations. So, that's a wonderful thing. The nurses are all attentive and very caring. They have a physical therapy room and when I go in there to visit my husband, I see guys on bikes doing different things with their arms. They work with them. The grounds are beautiful. There's an outside area in the center where you can go out and it's all fenced in so nobody can leave. It's a wonderful place with tables, chairs, and a garden. It's very, very nice and relaxing. My husband's room is very nice. He's got the window side and the door that opens to a screened-in little porch. We can go sit out there when the weather's nice and bring him out there as well. They cater to him on how he's doing and how he's adjusting. They have a big poker table and every time I go in there, there's like 8 to 10 guys sitting around this table playing poker. The food is excellent. They got a lovely dining room and the menu is varied. They have many choices in a day. It could be a big meal at noon or you can have a big meal at night. It's either way or both. The man from the admissions was fantastic. I had a long chat with him and he was very nice. Everybody there has been so kind and attentive to what his needs are and what ours are because it isn't just him, it's also a hard adjustment for us to put someone in a nursing home. You want them to be safe and I feel confident that we've picked the right place for him as a veteran. He's just happy.

Emory L. Bennett is a wonderful home for veterans. They were respectful and loving to my father during his declining years. While he was able, he thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie with other veterans, and benefited from physical therapy sessions. We, his family, never worried about his safety or care, and we are forever grateful to the staff.

Emory L Bennett Memorial Veterans Nursing Home was absolutely beautiful. I was thoroughly impressed with what I saw. I just liked everything about it. It's updated, clean, and the staff has been wonderful. I was very happy. We were looking to get a private room for my dad that has a shared bathroom, so it's almost like a dorm-type where a couple of people share a bathroom. They also had a good amount of activities. They had a calendar filled with schedule options, but the options under COVID are still slowly getting back in place. It's in Florida, so the facility had very nice outside areas. I was just lucky to have a brief tour there and the information that I got was sufficient.

My husband is in Emory L Bennett Memorial Veterans Nursing Home, and we are having a good experience with it. They're very good for veterans and take care of them very well. I can't say one thing bad about them. They have 170 residents in a huge building with two wings called Alpha and Delta. In the center is a dining room and a big, covered and uncovered, half and half, indoor-outdoor relaxation area for them to go outside. They have libraries, beauty shops and doctors and nurses right there, so it's very convenient. I've never found a place that's any better. The food is very good and caters to veterans' needs, whether it needs to be ground, cut up, or whatever. The facility is very clean and neat, and they have buses that take them to places.

I am in Emory L Bennett. It is nice, and the staff is very friendly. I haven’t been here that long, but they take care of me pretty good. They also have movies and an exercise room.

Compared to the others, Emory L Bennett Veterans was cleaner and the food was better. They have an evaluation wherein they talk about my husband's progress or anything that concerns about him. I give them feedback and they would act on it so that makes me very happy to have that.

One of the best facilities I had the honor to visit. The friendly staff provides exceptional care to each and every one of their residence. No need is left untouched when dealing with their residences. Whether it be dining , sleeping or enjoying fun activities with fellow vets, Emory L Bennett is the place to be !

My Grand Father recently was placed in this facilities care. I went to visit him this weekend and was very impressed with the grounds and staff. Everything was maintained, clean and the staff was attentive. Visitors had to sign in and ware name badges, which was reassuring. I got a chance to walk around and meet some of the other residents. There was a BBQ visitors could use, as well as screened porches to sit under and visit. The only part of the trip that made me sad was when I had to leave my Grandpa. They at least let us put him out in the hall so he could chat with other residents. Financially everything is covered. That is a big relief to my Grandma, as other options we researched was a very big burden. I wish he could be cared for at home but this is an excellent resort and I am glad it is there.
