We toured Bayside Terrace yesterday. When I walked in, it was nice. However, they're being bought out by somebody and a new company is taking them over, so they're renovating, and there was a lot of construction going on. It's an old hotel, and it's three levels, so it's really big. The person who assisted me was fantastic. She was helpful, informative, and knowledgeable. She seemed upbeat and she liked her job. She knew everybody that we walked by, and everybody said hello to us. It was a great place. For activities, they have bingo and movies. They have a library and a beauty salon. They do one field trip a week. They're open 24 hours for visiting. If I want to go see my mother, I can go and see her at any time.

I went and toured Bayside Terrace. I like the activities that they offered. I thought they were a little bit more in line with my brother's mentality. If there's a thing I didn't like about the place, it was the fact that they were going to be undergoing massive renovations. The staff were very personable and knowledgeable about what was going on. However, they didn't have outdoor walking areas that the other places had. The room sizes were adequate. It was very clean. It's like four miles from my home and it is right next door to where I work. There are restaurants, hotels, and Wal-Mart.

My mom moved into Bayside Terrace. So far, it's been great. She's only been in there four days, but at this point, they've been wonderful, and they've taken good care of her. She is happier than the last place she was in another state.
My mother loved the food, but I have not tried it. They provide games and do competitions like door decorating for the holidays. They do chair fitness, bingo, and cards. They also offer some outings to local shops.
The room is for two people, it is fine. She's not used to having a roommate, but they're working it out. They've just gone through a renovation, so they're painting and laying floors, and everything looks nice.
We chose it because of the airiness of the community, the friendliness of the residents, the helpfulness of the staff, and the cleanliness.

I visited Bayside Terrace. It looks a little outdated, but they said they were redoing everything. There would just be the one concern. It needs to be a little modernized. The people were really nice, and then they have the lockdown unit as well, so I like that. If my mom has to transition into it, it's on site.
It was a four-story complex, like an apartment complex building. It's got a couple of high rises, some balconies on some rooms, and they have some private rooms available. No furniture is provided. You'd have to have your own furniture when you move in. Then there is the normal $2000 community fee with the monthly rent for move-in.
The staff member who gave me the tour was Adrian. He was really nice, and he was there to meet me. I went to another facility and nobody was there, which I understand happens. It's definitely nice to have somebody that is actually punctual and cares. They do in-dining currently; they were doing it in their rooms. They're only putting two people per table, and they had them spaced out accordingly.

Bayside Terrace was fantastic. The place was like a nice hotel for my loved ones to stay, it looks like a great place. The only staff that I saw there was Adrian and the one at the front desk. They were very professional, caring, and everything. They have amenities just like a hotel with a spa and swimming pool. It used to be an old hotel. They also have a gym, places to play, and they have a theater. I toured the place and a couple of the rooms. The only thing is that it's too far for me, if it's close to me, I would put my mom there in a heartbeat. The only bad comment I have about them is that up in the front, that's where they have the smoking place for the residents, and they're changing that and putting a place in the back. The place is immaculate, it's clean and it's good to go outside.

My uncle has lived here for about 2 years now and I live out of town far away from him. I make the trip about 4 times a year for a week or so to see him and every time so far the staff remembers me and always treats me like family. I always leave with a feeling of comfort knowing such a caring staff is taking care of him. Thanks Bayside Terrace!!

My mother's friend has been at Bayside for over a year and loves it! The staff is caring and everyone knows her name. The residents are friendly and she loves the shopping trips! She said it feels homey.

Our tour of Bayside Terrace went very well. The staff was a very nice person; she was very helpful. I thought she was extremely helpful in fact. She showed us what went on. It was a nice visit.
One thing about Bayside that bothered me though was that I noticed that the room where you have the 3 rooms, it was 2 units put together, and the kitchen was very small. At the end of the kitchen, there was an opening and when I opened it, it was a bathtub. That kind of turned me off.

My BIL has been living st Bayside Terrace for about 4 years now. The staff is very attentive to his needs and let us know if anything happens. They had to move him to memory care unit and we have no complaints. The Doctor on site is very good, the nurses are so understanding and accommodating. His room is always clean, he's fed, bathed, watched over very good. We are pleased with every aspect of Bayside Terrace.

Bayside Terrace looked like a hotel that had been renovated. It had a nice feeling and homey atmosphere. When you first walk in, there is a big fireplace. The rooms were big. The staff was attentive. The dining room was a wide-open area with tables set up. The food was excellent.

Bayside Terrace was a very large place. They were close to perfect but not quite perfect. The rooms were comfortably large.

Bayside Terrace was really nice and clean. People were extremely friendly, and I was really impressed. The rooms were great and very nice. Residents had their own bathrooms that were nice, big, and clean. It was an excellent place.

I really like Bayside Terrace. We’re hoping to get my brother on Medicaid, but they don’t take that for the room. The experience has been very good. They’re very friendly, and they have good food. I really like this facility. The staff is very good. We had lunch there, and it was very good.

Bayside Terrace is nice, but I just didn’t like it as much as I like the facility I am in now. I guess the rooms looked nice, and the staff was very nice.

Bayside Terrace doesn’t have an institutional feel, but it doesn’t have a homey feel either. It's kind of in between. They have a shuttle service, room service, beauty salon, and they are also pet friendly. I like that everyone that I saw there was very friendly.
