Knowing that we would be in the Clearwater area, we decided to make an appointment to see Ambleside Manor, as an option for my friend's mother. We really liked how well the staff was prepared for our visit. They had taken the time to find out about my friend's mother and the things she likes to do. For example, my friend's mother really likes to read - and they have regular book club discussions. All of the common areas were really nice. The grounds were all well manicured - with plenty of areas for residents to enjoy. We could see that it would be a great place to spend time and have social gatherings. The dining room was really lovely - as were all the adjacent communal areas. The lunch meal we saw really looked great and we could see that all of the residents really enjoyed their food. The snacks offered include everything included plenty of fruits and vegetables. Despite the fact that they were made to be healthy, they all tasted really good. There were plenty of scheduled and non-scheduled activities to choose from, including games, films, fine and casual dining and other regular outings. Ambleside Manor looked like a great place for any senior to enjoy living, with attentive and kind staff in a stimulating environment.
