I really liked the memory care of Gulf Coast Village. Its extremely good. They have a very good director over there and they're very on top of things. The people are very compassionate. They have a kitchen on-site and they cook them good and fresh food. They also have a wide variety of choices. The staff is great, fantastic, and I've never had a problem with them. The facility itself is brand new. It's a good place and my mom likes it. She's very happy.

My mother has been in Gulf Coast Village, and we decided we're not going to move her. The staff is very good. My only complaint is there really isn't enough staff in memory care. There are single rooms, not shared, but they share a bathroom, and they are nice. They have one kitchen, and it serves all the dining rooms -- independent living, assisted living and memory care -- and the food is good. The security is good; they seem to take safety very seriously.

I choose Gulf Coast Village for mom because it goes from independent living all the way down to hospice. My mom is in the independent living and I like that they try to keep them in the independent living as much as they can function there. The food was very good. They have an exercise room and it looks to me that they have a lot of choices of activities from exercise to swimming. Mom tells me that she wants to try Tai Chi.

My mom is staying in Gulf Coast Village. I like this facility for my mom. The living environment is good. Their rooms are clean. I like their staff. They are nice. They also have plenty of things to do for their residents. Their food tastes fine. They are served hot and on time.
