The staff at Brookdale Fort Myers The Colony were all terrific and very, very caring. Every one of them knew their residents' names. The people that work in the office even come out to help at mealtimes to keep them on task. The place is kept very clean. They have something going on almost every day. They have live entertainment and all sorts of activities to help keep their memory level up. They don't force them to partake, but they're encouraged. They can also do some gardening if they want to. They have a private dining room, so if I want to go over there and reserve it for the family, I could.

My dad has moved into Brookdale Fort Myers The Colony. The staff was great, they were very attentive. The place was nice and was well-kept. The residents were really cute, they were nice. They had church service one day, they had gardening on another day, and they had music. Someone came in and did music with them. They had different things like that.

We visited Brookdale Fort Myers The Colony in person. It was actually one of the ones that we were considering for my mom. We really liked it. It was a great experience. The people there were very helpful. They seemed to really care about what they were doing. The room seemed OK, but it was the thing that I liked the least about it. The staff was great. They seemed excellent. I don't know what amenities they have, but everything was included. They had an outdoor courtyard, which was really nice. I didn't get to see a whole of it; because of COVID they're not doing full tours. It seemed really nice. We really like it, but we found a different one that we liked a little bit better.

I liked Brookdale Fort Myers The Colony. It was one of my first choices. The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious. They have outside people that come in to do pet therapy, music therapy, and entertainment. When I visited they had a group of residents sitting outside drinking lemonade and they felt like a family. The staff was wonderful and very caring. The residents that I saw looked clean and cared for. The place was clean. It was a little older, but it looked really good. The dining room was pretty. We walked to the outdoor area. Everything was fine.

Brookdale Fort Myers The Colony was a big place. The community area was really nice. There was somebody playing music, and the residents were all sitting around listening. We liked that each room was refurbished for the new residents. We also liked the bathroom and the closet. What we didn’t like was that the hallways were long and the room we were looking at was farther away from the common area. They had a bingo game going on while we were there. There was a recreation room and a TV room.

We visited Brookdale Fort Myers The Colony, formerly Clare Bridge of Fort Myers, and they're very helpful; very courteous. However, my daughter is 61 years old. The average age was about 81 or 82, and she would not fit into that community. We saw one individual room, which was very adequate for the person using it. The atmosphere was as up as I could expect with that number of people with dementia/Alzheimer's. They all seemed to be as active as they could; enjoying some games, visitations, and watching television. They were all very good. We even sat down with one to two, and just discussed their lives.

We chose Brookdale Fort Myers The Colony (formerly Clare Bridge of Fort Myers) because it's very close to our condo. Our experience has been good so far. The staff is great, and the management has been helpful. My wife has only been there for two weeks, but we're satisfied right now. It's very spacious. She has a single room that's more than adequate. The facility is not a five-star hotel, but it's taken care of properly. As far as recreation, they go on outings and have arts and crafts, music, and karaoke. I have not tried the food, but she has not complained about it yet.

We visited Brookdale, and it was a very nice place. It was probably a little more than my mother can afford, but other than that it was very, very nice. It was very clean. The apartments were very nice. It seemed to be a very nice place. The people seemed to be very content there, and they talked to the staff. We looked at the apartments, and they were very clean.

Clare Bridge was very nice. The lady I talked to gave me a tour. It was very small, so they can keep an eye on people. The staff seemed to take very good care of the patients. They were all very nice. It was clean.

We considered moving mother to Clare Bridge of Fort Myers. The place was very nice and accommodating. The people were absolutely wonderful, and they were sitting around when we were there. The rooms were smaller. The dining room was nice. The staff during my visit was wonderful, and we do keep in touch with her.

I am the health advocate who has been working with the family of my client, who is at Clare Bridge. The staff has been absolutely amazing. They go out immediately and make an assessment. They did the paperwork in a timely passion because her family is in North Carolina. I am trained to manage this process, and the day she moved in, there was paperwork that came from veteran's affairs because I am trying to get death benefits for her through her husband who is deceased. We need it for her care cost, as she has memory issues. They had an administrator from another location come over and fill out three lines, had my client sign it, scanned it, and had it back to me in an hour. It was awesome because I needed that paperwork, as there are a lot of back pay issues with it, and her family has suffered trying to keep her care cost covered. The rooms are beautiful. They have absolutely fantastic food. They have a great chef. They do diabetic care on site. They have beautiful grounds for people to walk, and it is fenced in. They do a lot of activities that are really well-organized. The people seem to generally care about the folks who are there They are on top of all of her needs. I have been a social worker for 22 years, and I have been to a lot of adult care homes, and I don't have any negative comments for them to improve on. This has been a good experience.

In general, Clare Bridge was the one that I would personally choose for my mother and the main reason I liked that facility was there seemed to be a lot of caregivers around taking care of the residents. They were very accommodating. They also had a spacious place for the patients in the Alzheimer's unit and it felt like home. The rooms were in the average size and the food seemed okay.

The staff was very good and very caring. The facility is clean, has an atrium in the center with lower walls so the patients can walk and still be visible. Each patient has their own room with their personal items. Our family stopped in at various items throughout the week. They have some excellent employees who work endlessly.

While in the Florida area, we headed over to check out the Clare Bridge of Fort Myers assisted living facility as an option for my friend's mother. It looked really well-kept from the outside. We liked the park-like atmosphere of the grounds. My friend's mother has family in the region so it would be ideal to find a place in the vicinity. The main foyer was reminiscent of a quaint country home with fresh flowers. It was hard to imagine that this was an assisted living facility. The communal areas all had ongoing activities, from reading to games and resident interactions. It was clear that the residents were enjoying themselves. Outings scheduled included everything from nature walks to fine dining, art museums and literary events. They also host monthly parties for residents at the facility which they encourage friends and family to attend regularly. The living spaces were all a nice size and had beautiful decorations. We could see that my friend's mother would be comfortable in any one of them. Each space had individually controlled temperatures. The dining areas had a fresh ambiance and the food choices looked nutritious and delicious, as well as the regular snacks - which are offered continually and whenever requested. The exercise center included daily yoga and aerobics exercise classes. Residents can also safely navigate the lovely garden pathways and courtyard. This is a well designed facility with caring and attentive staff. All of the residents appeared to be quite content in this living environment.
