My friends had a mini apartment which included one bedroom and one bathroom, a small kitchen, and a living area. They were very satisfied, as they were well acquainted with the other residents, and felt "at home". They enjoyed the bus service that took them to different places. Personally, evening meals were a pleasure to experience, with very good food and formal service. The staff always welcomed visitors and knew the majority by name. It was neat to see a salon partition directly in the facility. The facility also has a nurse's station. Another aspect I enjoyed seeing is that they have an interior design group, who constantly decorated the hallways and joined living areas, for the various occasions and holidays. Activities such as the popular Bingo night and church services kept the residents actively engaged socially, and the residents had something special to look forward to and plan for every night.

The facility was clean and had a very relaxed " Home" atmosphere. The employee's seemed very genuine regarding their concern for comfort of their residents. The dining area was decorated very nicely and the color scheme was inviting and cheery. The landscaping was also very pleasant and relaxing. THe meals prepared appeared and smelled enticing. I did not see residents sitting forgotten in hallways or alcoves. The activity area was clean and cheery and listed a schedule of various activities from Bingo, to excercises as well group trips to beauty salons, Walmart and other shopping areas within the city. Additionally, there was a posting for Movie times and showings for various says for those interested. There was also a listing for various church group scheduled visits. There was a posted snack time and various afternoon snacks and refreshments offered. Overall, it seemed a good caring facility for the elderly disabled to reside in.
